Kripp: Path of exile is more like d3 now

Huh? A quip from Kripp while he's playing a Blizzard game seems to be generating more controversy than it's worth. He's entitled to his viewpoints and all but he bailed on PoE years ago. Searching on Youtube I found his I Just Found Out PoE Sucks rant from April 1st, 2013 (almost 5 years ago). To me it sounded like he was just another "PoE is too hard... I quit this shit" crybaby. That's his personal view and why he went back to D3. Ok, so he doesn't like PoE for whatever reason. I fail to see why the OP is giving any credence to the sound byte from him. He's ancient history as far as I'm concerned.

On the off-topic comments about Oni-Goroshi, I have farmed 2 of them so far and because it is a 6L weapon it is excellent for leveling so it will never be garbage. Since it is a zone 1 farmed item it shouldn't be expected to be a great endgame weapon. I'm not into endgame high maps with mine yet (just got my 1st one Dec. 31st) so until then I can't comment about the sword's endgame effectiveness. I feel sorry for the criticism that The_Scourge it getting hit with. I mean, if you don't like it then don't waste your time farming it and never use it. Go use a Silverbranch Bow (I've gotten 2 to drop while farming for the Oni) or whatever makes you happier or just be like Kripp and quit PoE to all that are so negative. No one is forcing you to play PoE at all.

Why does Kripp has to be relevant to PoE to have an opinion that other people agreed with? The people who argued against Kripp's opinion in this thread just uses his relevancy as a strawman. "He's not relevant so his opinions are wrong".

Kripp opinion is more than relevant in Chris eyes, at least it was in past.


last note, those who complain about Oni sword are just the same who ruined this game. At least the sword have a downside, minor it might be it is still a downside... Everything else released this patch is pure stats with no downsides.

Developers of this game are either clueless or totally schizophrenic.

They nerf stuff all the time for the sake of "balance" and then have the gall to release these insane shaped items.

Next thing they'll tell us they do this because of "limited design space".

I know that expecting consistent and solid game design in free-to-play games is a fruitless endeavour but GGG really lowers the bar in a similar move that Warframe did with its stupid Riven mods.

"balance shifting" implies that power is taken away from somewhere and added at a different place.

How could POE be anything like D3 when POE uses the gems for skills which is like lego you can build anything where as D3 you have a tiny pre determined amount of skills on the character like world of warcraft.

What GGG did do was they took a que from D3 where they removed the vomit inducing experience in POE.

So now you only have to play POE once in order to level up a new character no more nasty stinking vomit inducing nerd shit experience of playing this garbage in 3 difficulty.
