Kripp: Path of exile is more like d3 now
Kripp isn't wrong imo. But what he is saying didn't start today or in like 1 year ago.
When i started playing this game 2 years ago it was already fast paced like it is now. It was just a matter of choice playing like that and every league more and more people choose to do it. People seem to forget about the old COC, scold's, vaal molten shell, spark and that kind of stuff. Off-topic: The sword is nice. Not as strong as i though it would be at first, but still pretty strong. It is gonna be a go to at league start for many people(at least those with patience to farm for it). Saying it is thrash is just hating on the guy who created it for no reason. Something i think people are used to do on the internet anyway, so no big deal. Sometimes...

" The rules of elitist forum engagement clearly state that in order to have an opinion on any relevant subject you need to at least be able to provide proof of having done/succeeded the subject at hand. So by default anybody that never created a unique is ruled out and devoid of a relevant opinion. Take the high road, go full elitist Charan. " I dont think ppl forget that, they just remember years before that. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" Ugh, elitist forum engagement is one of the things I fought against back during closed beta, you may or may not remember. A free to play game community has no right even daring consider itself elitist. All are welcome, one way or another. Besides, I put serious stock in some movie and book reviews by people who aren't ever going to make a film or write a novel. There is skill to observation and critique that doesn't necessitate first-hand experience. Forest, trees, etc. And they said *I* was bad at PoE. At least I made it out of act 1 and know how to use the /dnd function. El oh fucking el.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |

Your cos-play is fucking terrible, no monocle, no snide remarks, bah.
Elitism shifts with time, which is quite fascinating in and of itself, it shows the fluidity of the human mind and how poorly people are trained in emotional memory. Nothing surprising but seems like a waste of time to me to attempt and "fix" it on a game forum :p I'd have a lot more fun attempting to teach those things to people in my nearest surroundings and improve their quality of life.

When PoE had the worst desync issue in the entire hack and slash gaming genre for years, the "elitist" called it a feature, and tell people to get the fuck out and go play D3 or learn to deal with desync.
Elitism shifting with time is real. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.
Welcome to PoE. |

" Its a very good weapon and one of the best designed uniques in the game in my "retarded" opinion. |

"Not only unduly arrogant, but suffering delusions of grandeur too. Kripp knows very little about PoE today, but his opinions still matter to the game far more than yours. Grats on making a sword that kept some people already playing the game interested for a while. It's fun to watch your ego swinging for the fences and then popping with any insult. But... that's about it. |

I find this thread starting such a discussion extremely funny considering Kripp, to my knowledge, plays neither D3 or PoE now, and has no plans on playing either D3 or PoE in the future.
Okay, he said a thing. So? Oh, and the idea that Kripp is still relevant to PoE because of his audience is, IMO, fundamentally flawed. His current audience watches him for Hearthstone, for the most part, and i highly doubt that even if he recommended PoE on stream to his 20-something thousand viewers, PoE would actually get a big influx of players. Those that are watching him and would be interested in playing either D3 or PoE probably already play those games. " Ehh, am i supposed to be offended and\or insulted by this, or not? I honestly can't decide. Последняя редакция: nskLantash#4654. Время: 5 янв. 2018 г., 23:16:39
