" Dude, this is not about overall difficulty. Most players encountered Catarina do not think she is too easy (but the battle is confusing). At the same time RANDOM encounters, which you cannot prepare youself for as good as for the Map boss or for safehouse, are much harder than that even in the same gear. Completely illogical. |

" Lel. It has everything to do with it. The main complaints have been lack of mob hp, lack of mob threat (damage) and player offscreening ability. Suddenly, the mobs are countering all three points at once, and they're doing it hard; in fact they're doing it so hard that people don't want those counters to exist anymore. While I know it won't last, Betrayal is exactly the thing that I thought this game needed. That I thought the other 'power creep elitists' wanted. Looking at the obvious ratio of for/against posts, it's clear that I was wrong and that there is a lot of a pretentious and/or confused people who have no idea what they actually want. Take note, I'm not blaming you or anyone else for being casual and hating Betrayal. Who I'm really disappointed with are those fakers who've complained about the game being too easy and accessible up till now; I haven't really paid attention to names, but with these Betrayal discussions as reference, I'm sure the names will pop up in later leagues with some complaints about power creep :) |

" I'm not against making the game harder, but syndicate encounters aren't just "more difficult" than the regular content, they are unbalanced clusterfuck. They hit you harder than uber elder and most of the time you can't even see what's going on. That's not the way to go. This is bad design. |
