If you have to apologize before saying something, it may be worth reconsidering whether or not what you have to say is worth saying.

Your questions include, "Is Wraeclast a continent?", and other similar questions answerable by paying the slightest amount of attention to the story (Yes, Wraeclast is a continent).

You're not going to ingratiate yourself to other members of the community by broadcasting your ignorance while simultaneously insulting something people really enjoy and value.

dudiobugtron, thanks dude. But I didn't blocked anything. aAtually I was striving to find out more but the way game presents it's lore (I described it in full colour in the first post)...

I only understand that I need to kill them (Brutus, Piety, etc) because OMG THEY ARE EVIL!!1!! and probably block the way. And that they are important figures and corrupted by evil forces (!) or something. But what exactly role they play in game? IT's still big question for me. Considering even when you try to listen / read what nps tells you - it's so vague.

>> Because it's corrupted and stuff.

Well I understnad that this is probably OMG EVIL POISONED THE WORLD!1!! kind of thing, but who did it? When? It was before our character apparently got thrown out of the ship? How long ago? And why?

So Wraelcast is a whole continent for exiles or there is some sort of prison or something there?

bwam, wait. What?

There is people who actually enjoy - THE WAY game presents it's LORE? Like really? I love the game but it's just too much of an issue to close your eye on. I thought everyone thinks the same, because there is 2 kind of presentations - bad one and good one...

First of all I never said I disliked game - I love it. Don't put words into my mouth, please.

Oh my gaawd! Nailed it! Most NPC's are almost bearable once you get used to them but the guy with the weathered thingies? It's almost like he's taking a piss out on his job it's so over the top. And it's not like he or the other voice actors are actually untalented hacks, it's just that everytime they open their mouths it's awkward and rings false, somehow.

My solution was to turn off voices altogether and just read, like in the olden days. Reading is way faster than listening anyway. Given that, PoE is the only game where I don't follow the lore, I don't know why. I just get this feeling of yadda-yadda-yadda-let's-get-on-with-playing. But I'll try to answer your questions as far as I can. Might be inaccurate.

1. Exiles are criminals or other unwanteds from the continent of thingy. Being Exiled is a certain form of punishment reserved for those who are deemed a threat to society/the system, or who were unlucky enough to get on the wrong side of someone with power.
They are send to Wraeclast by ship because Wraeclast is an island (I think), or across the sea. The ship crashed because of a storm (I think). It has been suggested that this storm/crash was not an accident, but I might remember that wrongly.

2. Wraeclast is the place where Exiles are being sent to, and it has a really long and somewhat twisted history. The Vaal lived there once but there was some sort of cataclysmic event which wiped them out. Everybody tries to kill everybody on Wraeclast, and by everybody I mean you, the player. Unless you're in a quest hub, then you're safe.
It has been a point of contention how it can be that zombies, monkeys, ghosts, etc. live peacefully side by side but all gang up on you to get you killed. The current consensus is that it all might be just a computer game and that you shouldn't give a shit.
Nobody really knows why you do what you do. There is a theory that you win the game if you manage to get hold of a fishing rod and just go fishing, but no-one has been able to prove it yet.

3. Got me there. It seems a pretty convoluted story to me, but if you follow it closely that might turn out to be not at all so.

4. Yeah. I think the Beast is some kind of ancient evil, and this guy you know, he trapped it instead of killing it, and so it festered and created the, umm, Nightmare, I think? Sorry, that's all I got.

It used to be pretty cool ages ago, but then the Vaal (Atziri was queen of the Vaal) kind of ruined it all, basically by doing the same crap that Malachai is doing now.

Then later on it became cool again, and Sarn was really important. This is the time that all of the main characters come from - Lioneye, Maligaro, Daresso, Doedre, Shavronne, etc etc...
Kaom came from across the see with some Karui to conquer Wraeclast. They beat Lioneye, but ended up eventually getting corrupted by the land instead of going all the way to Sarn. (That barrier in the Battlefront was put up to protect against the Karui I think.)
The emperor of Sarn at the time was called Voll. He also got kind of corrupted a bit.

Shavronne put up the barrier at the prisoner's gate to stop Kaom's advance, and also set Brutus free to block the way. I think it ended up badly for her though, since Brutus just fought anyone. I'm not sure how Kaom got past Brutus. Maybe he just walked around the prison, because he's not as stupid as the exiles.

'The beast' is some ancient evil spirit thing, kind of like 'Gaea' or mother nature, but evil. Malachai (with the help of Maligaro and others) ended up accessing it and taking control of it to corrupt the world even more.

Now Sarn is a bit crappy, but the Oriathans still use it for doing research and experiments. Doiminus is the overseer of the people doing experiements to make crazy evil zombie soldier things. Piety is the one who actually controls all the experiments though. I think she just does this because she is evil, she doesn't really care about helping Dominus.
You keep seeing her around the place because she is looking for all those old artifacts to do more experiments with (She reads Shavronne's diary and learns about the barrier at prisoner's gate, and she is also looking for the baleful gem in the Chamber of Sins. That's why you keep seeing dead Orathain soldiers (blackguards) everywhere she has been, because she doesn't care too much if they die protecting her.)
I think they are able to do so well in their experiments because they can access the power of the beast, thanks to Malachai.

Dominus is also the one who exiled you to Wraeclast btw.

Most of the bosses you fight after act III are all just zombie/demon versions of the main characters from ages ago, which are being kept alive by the power of the beast, and by their own force of will I think. Killing them is basically putting them out of their misery.

PS: There are lots of cool things throughout the game that help tie this stuff together. For example - ever wonder why Lioneye has a bow and a shield? Read the text on "Lioneye's Remorse" and you'll see that he left his shield behind, because he thought he could easily survive without it against the Karui. Pride comes before a (Lioneye's) fall, which is why the gem he had socketed into his eye to use the bow well ended up with that name.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Don't reply to these people OP.

They will defend to their dying breath with comments who is just: Wow don't like it, have something "negative" to say about it? Then stfu we don't want listen in the first place. In other words they assume only worth listening to if you already accepted the whole of PoE which naturally is nonsensical and defeats the purpose.

So yea, you made your point in OP just leave it strong don't go to the mud just because sucker's don't like that you have standards.

You are just describing how the experience itself fails to draw you in - people want you to go study every lore/conversation whatever in the game or they won't take u serious? Their problem - you just indicate that the experience is by you lacking.

FUN FACT: Wraeclast is an extremely accurate recreation of Australia. If you rearrange the anagram, it becomes obvious: Asctrelwa, which is also the correct way to pronounce Australia.
PoE lore EleGiggle , nagga plz .

I doubt it. Wasn't that Dominus who found her and elevated from a whore to his personal assistant? Granted, she is a biach, but still...
Also, we don't know what was Dominus' research aim(a tower-sized railgun to shoot corpses to Wraeclast's Moon? why not?); ninja pirate cyborg zombies could be just a byproduct of that.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
