Come on dude, do it already! We've been waiting for years for you to end the agony that is playing PoE and writing on the forums, and yet you're still here?
It will convert your forum titles into decorative square badges that use the space next to your forum posts more economically so that you can show off an unlimited number of them at any one time. - GGG, 2018 (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3573673)
Jesus man. Like shit or get off the pot already please?

You made a post a few weeks ago about not being able to get out of T4 maps or something like that... How do you expect people to have any sympathy for you when you post crap like that and now a laundry list here..

If you spent half as much time actually learning the game as you do complaining here you might actually get somewhere and learn a thing or to on how to progress and construct a build.

Like do you do this shit in real life? If you are 5 dollars short at the grocery store do you curl up into a ball and start sobbing until someone throws change at you?

Get it together man. Were tired of reading this garbage.

I think GGG is on reddit because it is easy to manipulate other people opinions. All you need is bunch of reddit accounts and downvote everyone that you disagree with. On PoE forum only thing they can do is erase opinions of people that they dont agree with or just abandon forum like they did, so most people would go to reddit. Having control on reddit seems like it is popular opinion from player base.

And *I* think GGG posts on the reddit more than on this forum because the quality of the content that survives on the reddit is exponentially better than what passes for "legit discussion" on this forum. 99% of this forum is bitching from people that either can't be bothered to learn the mechanics they are bitching about, or who want to fundamentally change the very nature of the game (like "there's this thing in this MMO I played 5 years ago that I liked, so it should be in PoE, Listen to me GGG"... shit like that), where the threads that survive on reddit tend to be build videos/guides, discussion about mechanics by people who have bothered to learn the mechanics before blindly whining about them, memes (whether good or bad, they are a part of PoE community identity, and thus have their place), etc. I'm sure the usual suspects will be butthurt by my saying this, but it is just the reality. As a dev would you rather interact with people who like your game, and want to learn it better, etc, or people who hate your game, don't even play it, and do nothing but bitch about things they don't understand? Whose input would YOU care more about?
U MAD?

GGG sure knows how to be exclusive for the top 1% quality of players

Seen this over and over and over again. It's BS. There's nothing you 'can't' do. You've been here for so long man, why you people choose to believe this lie?

- use a build that can get the job done ('choice' is an illusion, exile!)
- farm some COMMON currency and/or use the market to generate extra currency
- buy the stuff you want 'cos it's not gonna drop for you in a few days/weeks
- some *little* practice (game is far from mechanically challenging)

Congratulations, now you are able to beat all content game has to offer.

Have you played MMOs? In some of them, getting a BiS piece (and fully upgraded) takes weeks if not months of legit play (of course, many of them have directly or indirectly some 'buy now/get it faster' p2w scheme). On top of that, there's some real mechanical challenge and you have to practice up for quite some time (think Tera Rising: Manaya Core Hard Mode in its old days).

Have you played FPS games competitively? I was part of a small UT3 community back in 2009/2010. Not many players (private server) but man... they were a bunch of though little sons of bitches. Suck for months, play obsessively, full concentration required. It took a LOT to find my place among those really passionate players.

Man, PoE is piece of cake. Walk in the park. If you aren't in the '1%' that's your own choice. Except if you don't have much time to play, that's the only valid excuse and it's pretty much inevitable. The players at the top of the ladder are those who follow rules 1 to 4 and also have the most time to no-life. It's pretty simple. They aren't some kind of gifted prodigies (the clan leader of that UT3 server... now THAT was a virtuous gamer). Even if you don't have much time, you won't get top ranks but you will eventually beat content.
SO, why does GGG make content for the 1%? Come again?

I like how OP is slowly becoming a meme on the forums.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
got a good laught.
When you ragequit for a year because it's impossible to level after the 80-90 range due to one-shots, massive xp drop offs, unsustainable map drops, and extremely high barriers to entry, and then you come back and even after mob nerfs (member when devourers were packs of one-shot machines?) and drop buffs it's still impossible to level for the same reasons.

As much as I want to recondition my expectations for the game to be "get to level 80-ish and run some tier 8 maps and call it done", it's just not working. Having that many untapped levels and that much undoable (and massively RNG gated) content just ruins the fun. It'd be a lot better for me if they got rid of the artificial barrier to getting to 99. The gear is already enough of a barrier.

Sorry, but I'd be much more sympathetic to your cause if I didn't witness a total newbie that joined near the end of Prophecy reach level 90 in Essence with multiple characters without any issues.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
