You know you're done playing PoE when...
" Level 90 is in the 80 to 90 range. Though I probably should qualify the statement further all the same, as I tend to play solo, or during times when there aren't enough people around to run maps in a group with (when it's nothing but EU players on, and I'm in the USA, they tend not to want me around due to latency complications). But group mapping tends to be boring, since it's not coop so much as "watch the one guy with the uber build effortlessly solo everything while you try to keep up without your computer melting". Sometime in the 80-90 range is when I get fed up with that and want to start handling things on my own, and even in groups the levels start trickling in rather slowly regardless, and when that happens you very quickly hit a harsh reality that you're not really going to be leveling up any more or doing any of that cool stuff without a massive investment--which is problematic if you're not much for trading, which is likely if you're not much for group play in the first place--or a willingness to run the same boring white maps over and over and over and over... |

You don't need to group and you especially don't need to buy maps to reach level 90. Hell, we've had people getting to 100 solo self found but I won't use that kind of persistence as an argument.
Up to 85 is fast and then it starts to slow down but you're still getting ~4% exp per T10 map at level 89 so it's 25 maps and you're there, or 30-something T9 maps. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" That assumes that in 25+ maps you never die. Which is problematic as a solo runner with ubiquitous one-shots in every mob pack. You get a little lazy even once and you might accidentally bleed yourself to death or something, too. I can't exactly stay on my game all the way through 25+ maps. Obviously some people can do hundreds without blinking an eye, and that's great for them, but I'll crap out by the time I hit 10. Repeating content 10 times is already pushing the limits of what I'd say constitutes a reasonable leveling progression. You want two to three times that just for 85->86. I'm also not sure how easy it actually is to consistently maintain a stockpile of T10+ maps as solo. I expect you're going to need a lot of +quantity on the map, which means a lot of potentially risky mods and currency tossed into rolling away the ones you definitely can't handle safely. There's a lot I like about the game, which is why I came back, but it still seems to be not really the kind of game I actually want to play. Give me exactly this game without the artificial barrier to hitting max level, and I honestly think I'd be a lot happier. |

" I joined in essence and got to 91 easily. This is with killing myself to reflect over and over and in general having a bad build[ s]. Had no problems sustaining a map pool. Sometimes you need to buy some (cheap...) if you dont get a specific drop you need but its not like you ever dont have anything to run. Completed over 100 on atlas and got into t16s. " That's probably it, I suppose you should just give up on online ARPGs if you got low grind resistance, I at least haven't played any that isn't. Maybe D3 would suit you better, haven't played it myself but I hear it's notoriously fast to level and gear up. On the other hand, dunno where's the fire, as a casual player I'm not blowing through 30 maps in one sitting either. One day it's 5, the other day it's 10, if I don't feel like playing it's one or two or none. If you keep at it you get there eventually, if you don't you're doing something wrong and there's no shortage of help around here you can get anytime you want. " Found your problem. You have no clue how to actually play the game. "You go on pretending that you own the universe,
And we'll all be here watching as you're falling down to Earth." |

" ditto. Not much left to do after that. |

OP is all burnt out. I tick a lot of those criteria too.
Take a break until 3.0 hypetrain starts up. Or you might've moved on by then. Either way, life goes on. I reckon having 2 games going on concurrently is good. You can just alternate between them and play to feel entertained and fresh. Like when certain exercise routine gets stale, or when a dating relationship reaches that point, etc etc. Doesn't mean you can't come back to it (well depends). Последняя редакция: amjko#6209.
