Bestiary is a complete waste of time

You do realize that it's just an Emperors luck x2 that has 100x less chance of being dropped. If you're that happy about this, you should just run 2 tier 9 maps and you'll have the best gaming experience of your life.
Off screen or not, it is objectively a waste of time no matter how you do it.

I really don't understand the point of this league.
You go get your nets ( that cost a HEFTY amount of currency), you go and do the tedious work of CAPTURING your beasts, so that means trapping at the right time, and being careful and still avoiding all the lackluster stuff they randomly throw at you ( not ranting about it being hard at all, the EFFORT you put in it is the problem), THEN you have to defeat 3-4 of those mobs, and if you make a recipe for an item that is AROUND your level, the fight is tough as hell, ( at least sometimes its like an izaro fight on steroids ), then you look at your item...

AAAAAND GARBAGE, as for the X-th time GGG dissapoints me with this design choice. At this point having essences is a much better way to craft items with masters than doing this crappy "crafting" thing. Why can't I influence like 1-2 mods on my items? Why can't I create items with SPECIFIC mods that I want? Why not give us the ability to go up from magic to rare through beast crafting? ( actually an incentive to do all the tedious work in early game).

The items we recieve are mostly useless. I understand this was done with the ECONOMY in mind, since everyone could just craft, and mastercraft their items right? AND WHAT IF FOR ONCE YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE WHINERS IN THE ECONOMY SYSTEM, and let us REALLY craft our items to a certain degree? Like maybe not allow us to craft items with T1 rolls or whatever. But this doesn't feel like crafting at all, it feels more like rerolling the possibility of a drop, that also costs more time. Sure you get the chance to craft a HH and someone actually won the lottery, and got a HH on day 1. BUT YOU CAN ALSO DROP A MIRROR ON DAY 1 IF YOU ARE LUCKY, so what is the point ?

This league should have curbed the RNG hell we all experience, and allow us to trade the time we spend on clearing and grinding mindlessly, to better invest in creating our own customised items in the way we want them too. Sadly a truly missed opportunity. It would have been amazing for SSF too! Waiting for next league.

I like this league despite the rewards not being as good as they should be considering the amount of micro.

Objectively a waste of time? You could argue that playing the goddamn game is a waste of time. In my eyes, as long as you have fun, the game is absolutely not a waste of time. And fun is pretty much as far from "objectively" as we come.

And yes, I do realize that it's just an Emperors Luck x2, but it is an addition to the card that I've gotten 2-3 times while leveling through the maps. And I appreciate these additions. Makes leveling more fun and entertaining.

Yes, objectively a waste of time.

Every game has some sort of incentive to be played on. This game and it's content is all about progressing your character. Your "FUN" is locked behind content that needs progress. Your progress using Bestiary is close to non-existent compared to the rest of the game.
If you would get all your items instantly on hour 1, you wouldn't enjoy the game. If you would have Bestiary level of effort x reward progress throughout the whole game, you wouldn't enjoy the game.

This rhetoric of "das dae gaem doe am still haf fun" is flat out stupid. A game has to give you challenges and an incentive for it to be enjoyed. Bestiary provides no real incentive that is aligned with the game's challenges.

Depends how you feel yourself progressing.
Same way how Bestiary is objectively a waste of time compared to mapping, so would be leveling in act 3 as level 40.

The longer the char progresses, the longer the fun for the player ;) (with 'diminishing returns' on acting 'very' slow, obviously. but even this can keep being interesting, like with farming for specific cards or other events instead of pushing through the storyline).

Nobody wants to gimp themselves into progressing slower, lets not kid ourselves. You MAY like leveling super slow and you MAY have fun in act 3 at level 40 but it still is objectively a waste of time compared to your available options.
