Additional Accuracy always had a place in certain builds. The quality on it used to give critical strike chance so it was a fairly common CoC support gem because it addressed shortcomings in those builds.

Juggernaut can make use of it now.

I think minion builds benefited a lot before the no evade shield too.

single target melee skills have been in the trash list for quite some time or legendary elemental hit

special mention to vitality aura, people do use this aura but for the most part is a filler when there is nothing else to add, the bonus is way to low to be worth reserving mana/life.

I think vitality has made a huge comeback in large part because of this:

Arc is bad ? Do you heard of the new mathil's build ? And arc were always a very good fast cleaning maps skill for new leagues.

Life leech never shined ? Vaal pact + life leech before the nerf could make you instant regen every hit you deal...

Vitality useless ? Life based RF ? Anyone ?

Fork where used in vaal fireball setup and were so powerfull that it was nerfed.

Incinerate were top tier build.

Reduced mana is still good for leveling with some skill with tabula rasa.

Lightning strike was played.

Reave... just lol at this one.

Prior to this league additional accuracy was extremely important as a minion support, pretty much comparable to a normal 40% more multiplier gem. Zombies and skeletons had something like 65% hit chance on shaper lol they really needed the help.

I always enjoyed Arctic Breach with CoC in the past, and CWDT for defense (guaranteed chill). It's certainly not popular now though.

Arctic Breath + Fireball were usually the top choices for CoC?

I used arctic breath in breach for about the best character i've made, pandemonius made it blind everyone and gave 20% cold pen too it was insane how strong it felt.

Sadly kinda nerfed with reductions to chill
