I don't get it. How does Bestiary not reward you for killing quick? If you can kill quick, you can toss the net a lot earlier, and even speed up the kill if using good nets, as you only need to get the beast to about 20% health before it's done.

I touched a walrus about 20 years ago at Sea World in San Diego. My hand still smells bad.
It's not just about speed. It's about imposing a penalty for killing stuff. That's wack in a game like this. Necro-nets were a bad solution to that... one more tool to carry around with us. Not going to do that at any speed. Good riddance to that. I don't think the whole idea of the league was a waste, but how they implemented it was abysmal.

I hope they implement a way to get the uniques... maybe keep the legendary beasts that opened the portal as random encounters, but have them drop a key to their respective bosses?
It'd be a shame to be unable to use those honestly amazing uniques. Especially with the aspect skills.

Take it one step further, why bother netting it if your into the xp speed galore fest?
Get the xp and lootsplotion and move on.
It was solid for SSF and all players that want to gradually work up their character without relying on trade to much and simply "play the game and progress".

Quite unfortunate to be perfectly honest. I really enjoyed using aspect of the spider.

GGG gave their reasons for dropping it in the dev manifesto and I was pleased to see they were all mechanical. My gripe was unusual and very much niche. Doesn't mean it was invalid but it really had nothing to do with larger decisions being made at GGG.
It's not as if I'd stop buying all the support packs just because I quit playing.
I think we both realize this has everything to do with PR and a direct result of their failed launch.
I mean, really, the introduction to the new player? Vaal gems what where who for a new player? Crafting and master benches utility/functions?
It's PR evidently based on their past actions and league incorporation's.
Oddly enough, bestiary actually provided content spikes for players in the quest-line instead of just going from a to b then from b to c etc.(which the lack off is most likely one of the reasons why the whole
quest-line feels dull after a couple of runs and becomes an act of repetition instead of exploration)
Anyway i'm glad for you, but i will miss the content spikes compared to the dull screen-wipes and the functionality for solo-progression.
