Yeah S&S v2 is really good. I think it's a better build than Pure Spectres actually! PS is kinda simple damage scaling, but S&S uses interesting game mechanic to work.

Yes, I think so.

I actually use Pure Spectre build in deli league and I could carry Simulacrum, so I thought it would be OK for 3.11. But I realised new summoner players need more defensive build and then show DPS build as upgrade path.

The forum guide is very complicated and easy to break! so I need time to change it.

But definitely 3.12 build will balance DPS/def better.

I was using the pure spectre build with RS. The dps was great but I was stuck at lvl93.
Changed to S&S and it's grat, managed to lvl up without problems. Had some issues with Sirius. Spectres started dying in the last phase. Made a misteke by using Death Mark so they kepe going back into maze. After that I still lost some spectres not sure why (maybe the got hit with the beam). But in the end the dps was enough to kill Sirius a8 without spiders.

Do we need to level up blade vortex in S&S build? Getting that additional dex is a bit annoying

Level up BV as much as you can. The extra level gives extra radius so it will help with EE while you running. But it isn't super important.

If spectres die in Sirus A8, I think it's bleed... maybe need to spec into Idomitable Army again :\

What about the body armour, any recommendations on what gems to slot in there?
I thought about adding zombies or something, not so sure.
How would you go for 4 auras, lower levels on gems? Or Enlighten maybe?

I've recently made the switch to both of these. Also i recommend u make a essence crafted helm since the 30% flat damage increase is petty huge.
Crafting them was much cheaper than buying.

I think the most optimal way of using them is switching to 3 crit clusters and CI. You will need aul's uprising with discipline (if ur going ci) or hatred (or haste if ur not going ci).

Gems are Fork + Gmp + ele damage with attacks for mapping
and deathmark + vic proj + ele damage for bossing.

DPS is pretty insane POB showing around 120mil.

Thats what i was afraid of.
I assume that it being a chain of triggers means that Second Wind Support also wont work, would be pretty nice power boost if the Thaumaturges could store 2 uses of Bombs and had lower cooldown for it.

Actually in general can Spectres benefit from Second Wind support? Quite a few of them have powerfull skills with long cooldowns and i know that not all of them are triggers based.

Oh and also since the ball lightning projectiles being so slow is one of the cons for the Preachers, would linking Faster Projectiles to them make sense?

Main advantage of ci i think is you can run a 3rd cluster set without going super low on ehp.

Well the switch is not super expensive. Also i've been crafting everything for myself which makes the cost much lower.

U get delve minion rings and crusader orb % es onto them. I honestly dont know how much they cost but the base with t1 es and t1-t2 int i got for 2ex each. You can also find bases with dex if u need it.


U can also get a huge ES crystal belt pretty cheap and crusader it just like the rings. Also im using a hh but u dont need it.

Aul is around 18-22ex. Hatred one will give u a lot of dex.

Rest of the gear i've recrafted into energy shield from life:
. Best way of doing it is buying bunch of defense seeds and doing the rolls. Now getting double high tier defence on each is very hard and that gear is very expensive but u don't need it. My current gear nets me around 7k ES.

U will also need another cluster set thats around like 5ex for full set.
