Delve sucks

Funny how the people with such awesome lives take offense over such a small and insignificant thing. I mean imagine that, you have a family, job, girlfriend, a whole bunch of friends, hobbies and activities, gym membership, dog, probably a pool in your yard and you are annoyed that some game takes more time than you expected it to do.

More or less, yeah. PoE will always need heavy time investment (or alternatively a very high game expertise) in order to fully enjoy a league. If you have a problem with that, then, tbh, you're playing the wrong game.
I don't think you get it, "bro" (EDIT: that was for Johnny boi), it's simply disappointment, they want to like it but the quality it provides to life is not adequate to justify it - game lacks quality is what they feel the experience is not as good as it could be.

Maybe you will learn that once you start living your life.

On the real, lots of things im not too fond of in the delve thing. Darkness is too massive - maybe it can be improved with resistance etc but initially it just feels bad and the enormous chance to get stuck in stuff you can't kill just leaves you safer to not go offroad while the cart is driving.

Second, it's gated behind resource so it isn't a never-ending dungeon you can just keep exploring and also with the darkness as it works it's light years away from feeling like a continuous exploration into the depths. I just have certain areas i keep reloading and get fast fuel. Nice design? I think not. Make it like lab more where you can keep going as you please(you can trade entrance tokens) as an alternate endmode and then it will also live up to infinite dungeon name more.

Also, from what little i did play it, it feels like it never resets that just seems really weird to me, will my map keep growing infinitely and i can just have to scroll SOOOO much area arrgh.

Dynamite/candle mechanics suck and often leads to just wasting them and then you're often dead without getting the job done and need waste even more potential upgrades and building dynamites. Just make at least the lights spawn beneath me, or make me able to actually target the wall and the dynamite will throw at a relevant location. Etc. New controls? ffs.


It's very prohibitive and just doesn't feel done right yet - but i am not per se against it i think it could be great with many improvements. The best thing about it for me is simply that i can now get more currency for buying starter items - it's all i use it for.

Feel weird as hell also with no xp gain on leveling.

Also, pseudo-separate-topic: I agree that all characters on an account should share the azurite, but i'm not so sure about also sharing upgrades for each character... your idea of progression:
grind sulphite - grind azurite - grind sulphite - grind azurite - upgrade - delve 1 deeper - grind fuel - .....grind

normal joe idea of progression:
make interesting build - delve - upgrade gear - delve deeper - improve build -delve deeper - get friends and make tactics - delve deeper
then try new interesting build - delve - improve gear/ tactics - delve deeper - bored of delve do some mapping - go back to pushing tougher delves

but hey I get it, like those welfare warriors told the guy with a family and life, we are not welcome to this game, it is meant for dumb repetitive grinding yellow/ blue shit of the floor in some easy content.

INFINITE GRIND, I mean DUNGEON! And to think I supported this...

I love the game, don't get me wrong here.

I always felt too many people spent too much time playing it for the sole purpose that the game DEMANDS that sort of time.

I used to not have what mentioned earlier, I had a job where I could Play PoE nearly 8hrs a day... that got me nowhere in life.

So, I really wish I could still enjoy the game in that manner, but it not demand my time so much. Believe me, I'm annoyed by this and a lot of the time would rather zone out for like 6hrs +. Sadly, those days are over for me :(

unfortunately because of a) increased drop rates b) many more players entering economy c) game balanced around trade - you can only ever improve a build like twice tops then you're at capped build power more or less. game devs of GRINDING GEAR GAMES need to encourage you to grind more somehow, lol

Look at who they use, people who quit the game years ago but still hold onto what they liked about poe in 2013 but get bored at level 40 these days. All the testers are whiteknights and shitters so we get this
