" If being totally honest, i don't see a purpose for this wand. Sure, those stats will give us about 15% more damage, but you lose about 17% damage from losing golem (7/6=1,16666). So on damage potential - clayshaper is better, and dirtcheap compared to that wand. Elemental res for minions are completely irrelevant, they are immune to ele damage. The only good thing about this wand is flat mana to increase our mana pool. Would that wand had +2 to all cold gems (global)(or whatever gems that apply to ice golems), instead of useless mod - that would be another story. But that particular - nope. " It's not... You're net gain: 63% increased golem damage, 22% increased golem att arrack speed, 8% minion life. You lose: one Ice Golem, ~70 life/sec regen, 2.5% physical damage reduction. That sixth Ice Golem is 20% more damage right there. And let's not forget, Clayshaper adds a fair amount of flat physical damage to the Ice Golem attacks which scales well with all your "more multipliers" from support gems, aura, curse. Unless you get your hand on a multi-modded +2 wand (or a classy 7l 2hd mace) Clayshaper should prevail. | |

I tested it on PoB and seemed to boost the damage.
Maybe I missed something to count the damage correctly. | |
