Hello fellow summoners,

I'm checking this build on standard if I want to play it next league.

Can someone explain my why arrogance is linked to ag and spectre? It seems like its not working any more as the gem doesn't link with them.

Someone explained it earlier quite nicely... in any case:

Originally it was Blood Magic Support to increase the frequency of Frenzy and Power Charges by spectres (chieftains). GGG automatically replaced Blood Magic with Arrogance Support by default. We need to use Lifetap support to allow spectres to use life for casting their warcries. So the baron helm should now have: raise spectre - animated guardian - lifetap support - meat shield (or minion life)

I've only found the post about the blood magic but couldn't make a solution for my self.

Thanks for your help, I'm appreciated :)
Question for someone that has run this build before: how active is the playstyle? For context, I'm contemplating running a summoner next league partially because I was experiencing hand pain last league, and I'm looking for a build that requires less clicking. Is it feasible to just sit back and let the summons do everything, or does it require a lot of resummoning / micromanaging?

Also: the new Summon Reaper skill looks sweet. Any chance that could be slotted into this build, or would it clash too much with the build's mechanics?

That is a good place to start, then you can customize it as you get gear. I wouldn't bother with emperor's mastery or the elegant hubris, they are going to be pretty tough to get in the league, just get some cluster jewels instead. The pastebin from the OP can be confusing because he is using elegant hubris. Look at his and then at the one I posted one page back.

No need to resummon, except maybe your golem from time to time. I did notice I was reflexively mashing the convocation and bone armour skills, a habit I need to break, since they are on cooldown anyways. The reaper skill is interesting, we will have to see how it interacts with the other minions. Not sure how often it attacks the other minions, if it is only when it has low health, then just getting some more leech and regen might be enough. If it is at random that would be annoying. Hopefully with high regen on animated guardian they can coexist.

I only play necro, in fact, I am playing POE because I want to play necro and because I don't like clicking swords or bows for attacks, I use my army (10-11 zombies, 4 spectres, 1 AG, 1 golem, and 10 to 50ish vaal skeletons) to do everything for me. So as far as mouse-clicking goes, I just point the necro where I want to go so my minions can do all the work hehehe. During a boss fight, I just run in circles around the boss and stay alive. A few keystrokes are necessary for flasks, a movement skill (unless you want to use the mouse), and every 8 seconds or so for casting desecrate and spirit offering manually (unless you tie them to cyclone and maybe the right mouse button), and keystrokes for casting skeletons if you want them as part of the army (I prefer them because I like a huge army hehehe)....and activating molten shell. That's about it, the main work is done by minions in clearing the maps. If you go with necro, I suggest the tanky setup found on page 1, once you get a feel for it, you can make changes to the tree and gear as you see fit. Essentially, the build stacks strength instead of intelligence or dexterity. Minions (zombies, spectres, golem, AG) don't normally die once the build is properly set so you don't need to recast them unless you use skeletons or they die on you, in which case you will be next.

My buttons are mapped like this:

Q = desecrate
W = an offering skill (spirit offering)
E = skeletons
R = molten shell
T = for travel, either withering step or flame dash
1-5 = flasks

left mouse = move
middle button = vaal skeletons
right button = vaal molten skell

So you can see I use the mouse sparingly.

Typical play in a dangerous fight/area/boss: Q, W, point mouse where you plan to attack, E, E, E, the zombies go there, R, left click to enter the area, run in circles if fighting boss, flasks, middle button if fighting boss, right button if fighting boss. Wait until vaal molten shell is exhausted, then repeat the sequence until the boss is dead, and try to stay close to the boss so zombies do their jobs without losing aggro.

In less dangerous areas, I just zoom through (point mouse in direction, press Q, W, R, T) and the minions auto kill 90-99% of the mobs. No need to wait, they kill so fast once the build is properly set.

If fighting Sirus, I replace the right mouse button with flame dash and keep withering step in T. I failed to kill Sirus this league, since I messed-up my atlas very early and the same maps kept on dropping.

In delving, yes, I just sit in the middle and wait for minions to finish them off. I have my hand near flasks and mouse in case I do need to move.

Good to hear, thanks! My past few leagues have mostly been melee and self-cast spells, so hopefully things will be a bit less frantic this time.
VIABLE RIGHT ? 3.15
Viable ? In my opinion, no! Today after the PoB was updated, the build(with best in slots items) goes down from 1.8 Million dps per zombie(13 - no str stacking) to 890k dps per zombie. And from 3.6 Million dps per zombie(20 - str stacking) to 1.5 Million dps per zombie(this build its a perfect mirror tier build - 90% from items are hard to make them with those Harvest changes). I play this build since 3.5(Blight League I guess) and every league was nerfed till they hit it to the ground. Also every league I manage to make some changes to it to survive.. but now.. with +50/60% damage loss I dont think I can do something to it.. Sad. But like every op build we know that comes a time when the build can die. This is his time. If someone need info about the build, can ask me here or in game(MonsterInMyPocket).
Edit: I forgot to mention that The Baron helmet was nerfed(-40 str and instead at 300 str +1 zombie now its at 500 str). On a non str stacker build like this, maximum number of zombies on 1000 str is 11. Also the build relies on an expensive weapon (bow or two handed weapon with fortify +1 to gems and anvian craft + 3 open slots for +2 support and attack minion speed - this weapon its + 18 ex at least entire league - I confirm this for last 4 leagues where this weapon was at 17 ex max cost). The single plus of this build is the one that it relies on 80%+ unique items. Rings and weapon must be rares. The rest things can be unique(able to achive 1000 str).
Edit 2: About viability.. For a player who search in a build that can help him finish entire storyline(Act 10), to play maps safe till t10 I think and after that to change the build into something else, the build its ok. If in the past 9 leagues I recommend this build for all content...with huge nerfs in 3.15 the -60% damage and -25% life on the minions its a big hit in my opinion. To be able at least to do entire content I think you need at least 20ex for weapon, 1 ex for each ring with t1 str and some life and res, boots 30-40c unique ones with %atr at max roll, the gloves and belt will be hard to aquire in first week of the league because with those huge nerfs the players who can get in day 1 or 2 to Shaper etc will be hard in this new league to do the same..and you need the belt and the gloves that are drop only from Shaper. Also the belt need to have %atr max roll. Those can be +1 ex each at least this league in first 1 month, amulet can also be expensive, the one with +90 attributes its over 1 ex at league start, chest can be few ex(for offensive build and more auras) or near 1 ex for the defensive one(with increased es), weapon(100% you will play at least 2 weekes with the unique one that its at least 1 ex without 6/6 sockets/links - in ultimatum was 1ex till week 3 of the league, x2 24 str jewel can be 20-30c in first week each, for qol the jewel that drop from Sirus will be a pain to get it..will cost you near 2 ex with good stats. Other rare jewels with str minion damage max life near 1 ex at least. Total cost: 30-35 ex. Those to be able to do Mastermind, Shaper, Elder, Uber Elder, Sirus, Delve Bosses, 10 battles invitation, some of the special invitation. But also you need knowledge of those boss fights. In this I dont include the nerfs from flasks...dont know the impact of them on the build but as I read 3 from the unique flask that this build need was nerfed at half stats from previous leagues. And here I dont put cluster jewels...that are very expensive. The large ones are +4 ex. The medium ones +1.5ex.. Also the damage..that in 3.14 was at least 700k withput clusters and including all items that I mention in this comment. Now with the nerfs and without cluster you can achive near 500k max damage per zombies..so dont know if its enought to beat entire content like in previous leagues..

I play standard str stacking still (so legacy barons and gloves) and my dmg will be around 400-500k based on the reductions. I have good gear - not mirror - and this is just a guess based on the changes. Should still be ok in maps, but I think bossing will be a lot of trouble.

How many leagues in a row does this make for our nerfs? Chris hates pet builds and I have no clue why since he obviously loves aurabots.
