As far as I know, if you have multiple Spellslinger setups, Spellslinger follows the same trigger order as Cwdt which is according to wiki:

Main hand ⇒ Amulet ⇒ Helm ⇒ Off hand ⇒ Body armour ⇒ Gloves ⇒ Boots

Now if we socket our Desecrate Spellslinger setup into the boots, wouldn't we always lose out on the first cast because it would only spawn Corpses and not detonate them? Wouldn't it be better to swap the helmet and boots setup?

Thanks for the great guide. How much dps does it have around the 3rd, 4th, and 5th iteration of the build?

Spellslinger has a 0.5 second CD. So collecting CDR is the goal to improve single target damage (More casts per second). The goal is 69%. The next breakpoint is so high isn't unachievable.

I didnt know about it.

I have just changed colours and links in my gear to test it at HO.

Apparently I see no difference. If some other people wanna test it out and share results thatd be cool.

Thanks, that damage looks juicy! I'm glad you posted those, but now I don't know if my gfx card can handle it lol.

For those who're worried about lag with this build and are still lagging post Vulkan, the 100 pt (~$10 usd) MTX for VD current has better framerates than the stock version. https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/hauvd5/for_anyone_who_wants_to_start_vd_necro_but_has/

This, hopefully, is under review, and we'll see the performance improvements rolled into the regular skill. But if you want to spend some money to quickly improve your framerate there is a way.

@Kelzar - thanks so much for making this such a digestible guide! I only play every few leagues. It's always fun to latch onto a build/guide that looks fun and see where it takes me endgame.

Can confirm, the stygian VD mtx made 20-30 FPS difference for me when spamming balls non-stop in ho. From 50-70 to 70-100 on Vulkan.

That being said, it still brings by GPU to 99% usage when spamming in 1440p. I'm actually gonna play in 1080p to not fry the card, GPU is chilling at 50-80% usage and gained some FPS. If you have issues you might wanna check if going frop 1440 -> 1080 or 1080 -> 720p makes a big difference for you.
