Beyond Flask Management, and the very low life pool which you need to urgently improve, you also need more Mine Throwing Speed it feels like. Get some on belt/amulet/jewels. You can even use the gem that gives a million throwing speed if you want, see if that feels better for you - Charged Mines (you'd remove the passives giving Power Charges and grab 1 Frenzy Charge on the tree).

so after playing this build for a week now, im kinda stuck at a point where i have no idea how to progress further with my gear.

i am somewhat struggeling with t16 maps, my damage is absolutley fine but i feel quite a bit too squishy and if i die, i die to oneshots, dots and overall damage i take is fine and quickly taken care of due to reg and flasks.

i would like to use more cluster jewels but i would either need to sacrafice life nodes for them which feels bad due to how squishy i already am, i also cant get rid of any mana nodes as im on a really tight spot in terms of using auras and getting all 17 mines on the ground. (ive got like 50 mana left, just enough to dash) also without the % reduced reservation for zealotry on my amulet i would be screwed.

also i've been struggeling to keep up with stat requirements which kinda forced me to take 2 +30 dex nodes in the tree, else i would need to de-level my hypothermia.



my thought was to get a chest which has physical damage taken as cold/lightning as that would seemingly help a bit, so i've got myself a shaper base and been trying to craft that myself (not spending much on it, mostly using harvests and fossils i find) to hit life, physical as cold/light and spellcrit.


i've got around 10ex budget, so would appreciate some advice on how i could best spend them to get more damage (it is ok, but more would be better) but escpecially more survivability without sacrificing much of my damage.

Your Ring, Amulet and Boots have little to no Life, I'd start with those. That's a potential ~150 flat right there. I also see you don't have a Cluster Jewel with Cold Conduction? That means your Hypothermia doesn't work on things that aren't Frozen, and you're not Chilling at all (which is a good defence).

Lower the Vitality gem level if that means you can take off the mod from the amulet for now.

After that, Glorious Vanity and the ES from Life % chest craft go a LONG way for one-shots.

Ah yes, the game-changing mechanic so strong people often forget it exists until late maps.

Major = Brine King or Solaris or Arakaali (all good). I like Brine King here.
Minor = Ryslatha, as usual. Shakari for Hunter if you bother.

Interesting. As I've said before, I haven't played with minions much, but I figured it would be a problem here and there. Good to know.

You guys shouldn't be getting hit rarely anyway with the build. You can literally offscreen while mapping and freeze what isn't offscreen'd instantly.

The build isn't that squishy at all, but don't expect to be a tank with this build just because it has a few defensive layers.

Chain is really never an issue because frankly you shouldn't be getting hit all that much to begin with

I'm a bit of an aggressive player in this game, but still, you're probably right, chain isn't a problem.

Anyway, here's a my latest AW9 Baran and Sirus kill with this build, I noticed there wasn't a Sirus kill video in the OP so for anyone thinking of playing the build and wants to know how well it does against Sirus, here's my clip. It's not the best kill as he moves too much in the start and I waste my flasks, but oh well, that's how it goes some times.
