Unfortunately, any purchases made on PlayStation platforms cannot be used on other platforms, and purchases made on other platforms cannot be used on PlayStation platforms.

It is what it is. I just see myself staying on my PC and not playing on the couch.

It's a bummer, though,I was really looking forward to crossplay. As cosmetics and other items have been shared on other games between consoles and PC.

Just use a composite key for character names that includes the identity for the player. Keys are not pointers.

If this is really Sony saying no then how about GGG allow all ps players who have a pc account with purchased mtx raise a support ticket and gift all purchased mtx that is on said pc account on their ps account and agree that the pc account will lose all said mtx. This surely can be done by GGG without the need to go through Sony.

What a bummer... I was really looking forward to playing the game on my PS5, but without being able to access the stash tabs that I bought on PC, that's not going to happen

Magically dozens of new and older games have been able to get cross play and cross progression on PS4/PS5, I don't know why everyone thinks Sony is the only reason why GGG pulled out of doing FULL crossplay.

I'd probably wait. They're upgrading art on uniques, wouldn't be surprised if they do the same for MTX. Even if they don't POE2 will probably have cosmetics for new skills if nothing else.

I don't see why Sony would have reign over what happens on the PC side of things... I was looking forward to trying PoE2 on PC but there's no way I'm playing without my past purchases. Truly disappointing

Sony's leverage comes from the threat of kicking the game off their platform if a developer doesn't agree to all of their demands. So yes, they could give every player who bought MTX on a PS4/5 a copy of them to use on PC/XBOX; but if they do everyone who plays on PS would have to switch platforms to keep playing.

Hi, I have not played for awhile now and wanted to jump back on POE2, I have been gaming previous on my PC and recently purchased an xbox series x which I am using most of the time for convenience. I topped up and purchased a couple of mtx and packs on POE1 PC and bought a lot of stash tabs. Once POE 2 is out, and I play it on my xbox,will I still be able to use them or do I need to purchase tabs again? sorry for asking, i am having a hard time understanding the announcement.

Not sure if this has been asked yet. If I play couch-coop with another player, does the other player need an access key as well?

Agreed. I don't understand why they were unable to get the MTX to work between PC and Playstation when so many other games have been able to do so.

Most of my MTX was purchased on PC, my computer isn't strong enough to run PoE 1 or 2 anymore and I was looking forward to using it on my PS5. The delay of releasing early access to implement this account merge only to get shafted because they weren't able to figure it out does not give me a lot of confidence in the future of the games.
