Changes to Path of Exile's Account System

I can contact Support to transfer my whole MTX/League Rewards to my PC account?

If so, then thats great. I will just quit the PS Version, if Sony doesnt want crossprogression ...

Sub account doesn't seem to work on steam client, it keeps forcing me to stay the top option and won't let me select the one I want to swap to. Any fixes?

I can't even link my Sony account to my PC account. It keeps saying you can't merge two accounts with the same login methods.

Picking random discriminators after OG usernames of people that paid to support GGG when it was a tiny studio in beta and not allowing us to change them is so not cool

Any option to change the discriminator?

Support told me they couldn't because it's random when naming/renaming an account, so your best option is making 10k accounts to grab every discriminator possible and then requesting a double/triple name change to move account to a different name and back, hoping to land the discriminator you want, or requesting upwards of 20k name changes hoping to get the one you want.

is your PC account run through steam? if it is, thats why you are having the problem. Steam and PS both use "Identifier Login" instead of username/password, its annoying, but its on both of them to fix the issue, its not something ggg can do anything about I dont think, unless they want to open it up where people can merge multiples of the same type of accounts (multiple steam, or multiple ps or so on)

Instead of cool code for existing accounts like #0000 they added random numbers.
PoE without Chris worse and worse.

Do we need this discriminator in EVERY account? Sure there are some that use common names that need it but for the majority it's an unnecessary measure that makes everyone's account name look weird.

I absolutely hate everything about this change. I don't want random numbers after my account name. All this for a console merge that I don't care about as I'll never play poe on consoles. I'd have preferred the pc only players not be forced with a number and it only gave one if you linked a console account in.

Could have also let people that had conflicting names on the merge just change them based on who had it first. Out of all the ways that could have handled this random numbers feels so bad.
