Not shilling, and I understand some other games have faced this in the past, but genuinely curious why this isn't affecting other titles in the more modern space. the problem they are running into right now is transferring old purchases between platforms, and that is not doable between Playstaytion and PC accounts, the account will be able to merge but you can not use an MTX that you purchased on playstation while playing on pc and vise versa. you will still be able to play and have cross progression, so you can play the same character on Playstation and on pc, but the MTX will not travel with you. that is how i understandt it. If i created a second account via steam by accident, essentially forgetting i had an account already through the ggg client, and i then purchase microtransactions on the second account whilst having microtransactions on the original account, can i have as a one time action these accounts merged? I merged the PC+PS5 accounts and when I logged into the PS5 I saw the account selector. Switching to the PC account I didn't see any of the characters I had on the PC, and to return to the PS5 character selection I had to create a character on that account as the selector only appears if there is one in the list. Steam and PS both use "Identifier Login" instead of username/password, its annoying, but its on both of them to fix the issue, its not something ggg can do anything about I dont think, unless they want to open it up where people can merge multiples of the same type of accounts (multiple steam, or multiple ps or so on) I figured it was something to do with that, but even creating a totally new PoE account that had no steam affiliation, I get the same error.
