POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Issue still persists. CPU reaches 95-100c when loading into maps and randomly during maps for 5-10 seconds for no apparent reason, leading to freezes and annoying hick-ups. I've never seen my CPU above 80c in Riva Tuner on any other game EVER, even in very demanding UE5 games like Once Human and other ARPGs like Last Epoch or Diablo 4.

Tried lowering the settings, undervolted my CPU by 50mV, turned of my CPU 0 core, tried Vulkan and DX11, cleared my cache, no changes. My CPU runs up to 100c in those situations even if I cap my fps and my CPU is only at about 40% usage, which tells me it's definitely an issue with the game.

I love the game, but I will not play it as long as it's actively frying my hardware.

After taking a break from the game for the past few months, I have returned. At first crashes after every minute of starting the game with a new character. Even two freezes. I didn't give up. I did a reinstall of Poe2, then updated everything and now also after a couple of GGG patches - zero freezes and crashes. Not after a few hours of play but after a week and less than 40 hours.
I can finally enjoy the gameplay.

Now a little more about problems. I'm lvl 59 and so some hours behind me. Not a single freeze. Maybe 2-3 crashes. Instead of freezes, the creators introduced the 'gear' solution. - It is enough to do nothing, so that in a moment the game 'returned' to the state before the freeze. No core blocking needed. The rest of the problems are mainly server problems.

After so long without freeze I had one just now.

After months without a freeze, just had one. Crashed my entire PC. Overall, the state of the game is terrible.

Hello, I've been playing without freezes for a month now, today it happened again, I don't want to go into this game anymore, I'm just afraid for my computer.

Well, what can I say here. Alas, I also regularly, like everyone else, encounter a complete PC freeze. Only a token reboot helps. Considering that God knows how many months have passed, the developers are simply unable to fix this problem. Accordingly, it will remain on release. Consider this, are you ready to play a similar game, risking your PC?

Just had another hard lock this morning on the new 0.2.0g patch.

I havn't played for at least a year. Today I tried but the game crashes every time latest on the connecting to server screen. I tried some of the "easy" suggestions (Vulcan instead of Direct X, playing as Administrator and in Win8 compatibility mode, reinstalled from standalone to steam, tried the POE uncrasher)... nothing helps. Absolutely unplayable for me atm.

I do not have the best setup, but last time I could play it worked fine.
