To veterans of PoE1. What made that endgame better?
" There's nothing grossly overpowered about lvl 2 > 3 support gems tho. Jeweler's Orbs are super easy to obtain with the first use of the trading post as every sweat lord needs armorer scraps. The game is really easy to complete and it is fun and the OP you quoted is right, its a worse type of player and certain things need to be made more transparent and potentially with reward (yellow brick road style). Have a quest to use the trading post...reward! Make a fairly well engineered quest via the blacksmith for a weapon appropriate to your class with the reward of decent physical/spell damage %! A certain demographic are simply upset that they can't just fight their way through to End Game with little to no theory crafting, the "loot is bad" dynamic is a cheap angle of complaint because ofc they feel if they had better loot they could complete the content infront of them a lot easier alongside the poor passive node spends, skill+support gemming and lack of defensive mindset. |

honestly poe2 feels a lot like poe1 when it was first made but they rushed mapping 100%
