I Want To Enjoy This Game, But This is UNBEARABLE!
I have played POE2 since it's debut in December and have stuck with the game's rough spots, but the current state of the game is unacceptable.
With my level 56 Monk, I just spent the last 20 minutes fighting and dying to mobs 3 levels under me because my equipment is 10 levels under what it is suppose to be for the area. Now, I would be happy to use higher level equipment IF I could have access to enough currency in order roll the necessary stats for my Monk, but NO CURRENCY DROPS from the mobs. I can not even survive a Wisp Rare Mob when they appear; I have to literally kite them around the map and if they stun-lock me then I am as good as dead because I do not have enough equipment stat to survive their hits. GGG, I love the fact that you are trying to make this game better, but I am going to need you guys to stop trying to fix this game and instead start consistently fixing this game. I can not enjoy this game in it's current state of play-ability because there is no point in building a class that can not played it is intended to be played. Please fix this game's currency issue, GGG, please never un-fix it again. Thank you! Last bumped20 апр. 2025 г., 00:47:17

you should consider following a build guide ...being stucked like this only happens when you are doing bullshit builds

" yeah, you should play how "it was intended". how dare you try to have fun and experiment. what did you think, this was actually a game? seriously though: If they could just do 2 things in this game it would solve so many problems. 1) Increase currency and loot drops. 2) Improve Crafting With these two things people would be able to: 1) get through the "it's too slow" 2) get through the "it's too hard" 3) get through the "it's not rewarding enough" Why? because good gear on your player solves this. " You don't need currency when you're that low. You need to check every vendor every level and buy yellows that are good for your build. Check the blues too. Only use currency on a good blue or yellow you bought or perhaps found. During the campaign almost nothing I used came from drops. The vendors are there for a reason, use them. | |
Nothing wrong with experimenting, or playing the way you are, but you need to come to terms with the reality that,”experimenting” doesn’t always work out. What you are really asking for is for any choice to be viable, even bad ones. Bad choices SHOULD have poor results. The experiment failed, and you need to try something else. If you are struggling with creating your own builds, there is no shame in learning from a build to increase your knowledge. This will directly translate to you being more successful in the future when attempting to experiment.

" " " I always find it interesting how people, like yourselves, are so quick to criticize my build when you have no idea what my build actually is. Nonetheless, the main point of my post is not to seek "advice" on my class build. I am seeking for GGG to fix the Currency Drop Issue that is taking place in the current version of the game. |

" Having to follow a build guide is a huge red flag. Building your own character is the entire point of poe. |

Just play last epoch.. it has much better synergies that are not limited to do - do thing x to headspin for 3 second to get 1% hp. melee is great and synergies between skills are countrless. Even without guide you will be fine with your own build.. with auction house, wiki inside, no frustrating points, and end-game in act 5 after 2 hours, not 20.

" I agree. I don't want to say tourists, but seemingly a lot of people are coming here from elsewhere to just say, "I hope you are doing a super optimized build you found elsewhere just to progress". I know that in POE if you are doing like a really weak build, like if you're a new player for example just putting random skills together, you might struggle, but you at least have options there when you struggle for just making it through, and often all you need is to fake it till you make it. POE2 has no room for this, so if you get stuck you're just stuck there for the rest of the game until you beat your way through by just throwing yourself at it over and over, and maybe you never do, and that just sucks and isn't fun. |

" "Why are you trying to play the game the way you want to play? You have to play the game this way or you're not allowed to have fun" |
