I absolutly despise the new ways of ascendency

I quit the season b/c they haven't changed Trials at all. [Removed by Support] How the hell was this even OK'd for the live release?

Its one of the worst feelings failing your trial, especially after you've spent an hour + in there. And you die to some trivial stuff like mobs blocking you into a tight corridor during a time limit round right before the final boss.

Trial needs to be redesigned or scrapped entirely. Awful system that locks you out of class power. Who the fuck thought this was a good and healthy idea?

Or some ppl just can't be bothered to spend hours for ascendency. It's also too big of a buff for your class to simply ignore. At that point, the player feel forced to do it. It shouldn't feel like you are being forced but that you want to do it. I'd rather have it be easier that harder for everyone. Also, they did nerf the uniques rewards of the trials so it's not that big of a deal.

Yes, the "honor" mechanic is terrible and makes me not to even want to do the Sekhamas trial.

I never played that mini game in POE 1 because it is so bad.

I have spent tons of currency upgrading defenses. Still can't get 4th ascendancy as I always get one shot by some cheap mechanic in the trials. I refuse to spend an hour of my life doing Sekhemas given that one cheap mechanic or rng on the rooms can ruin a run. I've said this elsewhere, but the game's lack of respect for the concept of fairness is really disheartening. In souls, you can almost always explain what you did wrong to die. Here, you die randomly from BS all the time, and because they eliminate the reward if you die in the trials and pinnacle content and maps and everything, the feeling is simply one of disgust.

Update:
Three rooms into the trials of chaos, there are chaos attacks covering the entire floor (literally no way to dodge), and I get one shot. Either they have to make it easier to get defenses and life, are they need to cut this bullshit off. The good about this game is so good but it is being absolutely ruined by stuff like this.

Just got my honor destroyed on 4th Sekhema floor, with 75% honor resistance. Happy to see these threads ongoing. Game would be so much better if they just eat their pride and make changes the community wants.

I stop to play until they remove this **** !
