" This is not option for hardcore, i want sacrifice my offence and everything to have chill gameplay, and not chill in maps with any damage mods or bosses or rares under essencies, just being safe from white mobs, ed+c= good clearspeed, damage was good enough too, i could clear every pack with no problem at setup which will cost 5-10d, when i invest 100d i want to safely gather few white packs and clear it, if i(any player) have no difference in gameplay after i(any player) upgrade my gear - im(any player) losing any reason to upgrade my gear and play further. this is power fantasy formula - player upgrades gear, player allowed to play more freely with less attention to what happens on the screen, this is his reward for having hard time at the league start and midgame progression. if you open juiced map - its ok to stay focused and pay attetnion to whats happening in any stage of player progression. all this situation happened to me while i was pathing to tower(very boring unrewarding expirience) by running non-juiced maps mpstly with no league mechanics Последняя редакция: Genadolf#2101. Guys if you get hit by white mobs 1000 times in a row without hitting back you'll get a divine per white mob near you. It's a secret mechanic.
But in reality, investing in defenses is not linear. It needs to taper off super fast or the player will simply become immortal. Currently, defenses seem rather weak unless you have certain uniques like that amulet that restores missing health when you're hit. What you expect from the game will likely not be added since it goes against what type of gameplay they want. I do agree some mobs like the laser guys and a bunch of ranged mobs with too much range need to become less threatening but that's not even what you want. Take a look at what you want, and what the game is and then decide if you want to keep playing. |

" How do you know that when they dont even know themselves what kind of gameplay they want? The game needs to decide on a direction and fully commit to it - along with clearly communicating it and label its genre and game description properly. Only then do we know what they actually want. At the moment the game shows aspects of different genres that dont harmonize well. So long as it stays like that, we dont know what they exactly want. |

" You can be immortal(at least survive 20 seconds) to white mobs, on smith of kitava, on ritualist with defiance of destiny afk build and maybe es recoup chrono(but not sure about it) so this is only balance issue about what one classes capable and others not(for now), there nothing bad being able to being immortal to white mobs damage. The thing is they want to have succesfull product and for it they will need for players to have fun, in my case i had a lot of fun on HC, but my fun ended after i realised - nothing is changing, i already have insane gear, but i still need "engage" in combat, after upgrades my gameplay do not become more fun, it was same as i started mapping, it was same when i reached t15 and same when i upgraded gear and continue farm t15 and juice maps, i dropped more loot with atlas progression but it doesnt matter cause even if i had perfect gear 20k es, i would do the same and white mobs still kill me, just not for 5 sec - for 7 sec Simple solutions: nerf white mobs damage 66% from what they have now, this is dumb change but will fix everything Hard solution: add options for players(tree,gear, mechanincs) to be able to solve this issue |

While I fully understand on your thought process and power fantasy on why you want to sacrifice offense to have more chill gameplay and investing alot of efforts into it should be rewarded (and I 100% agree), it just unfortunately not the right way to play in the current state of the game. Even Jonathan is also objectively and undoubtedly wrong in his view on how to play the game. You don't use combo ever in clearing packs, and you don't use convoluted acrobatic sommersault combo sequences in fighting bosses also. You play simple, fast, high burst damage build. 1 button press for clearing packs, 2 to 3 buttons for bosses. The correct way to play is to play the most efficient and fast build to clear maps and collect resources. The entire game is designed and tailored around that, efficiency in resources acquisition. Even if that means you only have enough defenses but high speed and damage. |

I chose lich this league because last time I played an EV/ES monk and wanted to play a more active game, EV/ES was just shattering palm ping from mob pack to mob pack and smack them not worrying about positioning because my ES barely moved, I wanted to play a ranged build with manual dodge because that is what's fun for me
I'm honestly impressed by how tanky eternal life makes me, I can withstand plenty damage but there will always be times where the only way to stay alive is to run away and recharge. I didn't even bother maxing chaos res because poison immunity means there's almost no big chaos damage other than extra++ through mods, volatile plants can be easily dodged Rituals, breach and expeditions are trivial with ed/c, just shoot once and roll around waiting for the purple cloud to dissipate Последняя редакция: Strangehill#1736.
