-snip- everything else you said, cuz i dont care about it. at all. want to talk about your job for 8 paragraphs, get a dog, wife or a therapist.
Ah, well now I feel foolish putting in the effort and respect to come to a mutual understanding with you. If you don't want to even read, let alone be educated on the issue, there's no point in continuing the conversation further than I have now, I suppose.
That's too bad, considering you were the one claiming the high ground against OP and wanting to actually debate and be understood. Incredibly disappointing.

"
you were warned multiple times, in multiple streams and reveals about the conversion, and in detail, explained what it was, what will happen, and how to do it.
Give me a link or screenshot where it says there won't be affinity and no ability to store a bunch of different types of currencies.
"
the product you purchased(the premium tab), was still there, functioning as it always did. and it still does to this very millisecond.
Just straight up not true.
"
you had the "one time" choice to change that purchase, in most cases, YEARS ... YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSS after purchase.... which was EXTREMELY GENEROUS AND ETHICAL to do so. ggg was literally applauded for doing this. or to keep the still completely functional tab as it was.
I will say this, even though I know you will either misunderstand or misconstrue what I'm saying to benefit your rant. I agree the act was generous and nothing wrong with it ethically. What is wrong is not mentioning the loss of functionality and not offering a "regret" function even though that's the case.
"
if you converted your tabs, and regret it... thats on you.
Sure.
"
i have no idea why you would regret it, as the merchant tab is the greatest addition to poe ever (outside currency exchange)... but hey. thats w/e. you can FEEL that way.
Literally answered this in the previous post.
"
what you dont do, is go throwing misinformation on the forum around based off your temper tantrum feelings. like this dude did by saying it isnt an upgrade... it 100% is.
You're the one being emotional calling people shit, acting out and trying to argue just to win instead of having a constructive conversation.
"
the new tab does what the premium tab used to
Noooope.
"
that is an upgrade in any language, any definition, any country, and creed.
Wrong.
"
to say otherwise, is disengenuous. and shows your true colors. which i saw. from the jump.
Sure bud. Can't fool you!

you want a better way to get listened to. dont lie. (or ramble about your life and job for 8 paragraphs...rofl.. holy shit)
and you just lied a shitton.
you said they didnt say anything about it being in act 4. yet
"The FAQ mentions that you must have unlocked your hideout, which you can’t do until certain campaign progress (Act 4) in some cases."
so they did. people are just dumb or didnt listen.
"- No warnings on purchase confirmation - When a player purchases a merchant tab, there is no warning about the effects this will actually have. No mention of the tab's limitations, or its progression locked availability."
i guess 3-4 different prompts asking you if are you sure? and explaining why... dont count? stop the cap child.
"- No clarity on what would be detailed as "Currency items" - The listing of socketables and gems were not included in this FAQ section"
if you need to be explained what currency items are... then you got a long way to go buddy, and shouldnt even be buying tabs in the first place.
socketables were in the currency exchange previous to this tabs announcement.. dont need to explain this. dumb point to make. just dumb
while gems may or may not have been discussed, its a good thing they are int he currency exchange. most players have 200-500 gems in their gem tab. it would take multiple tabs to even put them all in. win win.
"- Made their warnings prominent and easy to find - Players must have gone to outside sources from the game and follow media to receive these warnings. No warnings were, or currently are in game about the effects of the Merchant Tab"
again. the warning were everywhere. if you missed them.... thats on you. they literally were all over the games site. and log in. patch notes. you name it. the warnings were there.
stop the fn cap
"Did not provide sufficient consumer protections - There is nothing preventing players from converting every single tab they own (In cases of them only having Premium tabs, no quads, no league, no currency tabs) into merchant tabs, essentially removing every single bit of feasible storage they have from PoE1 AND PoE2's campaign on league start unless they spend extra money"
why would they? there are people who literally only trade in this game. converting 10-20 tabs into merchant tabs isnt something that out of the ordinary, or implausible. with the CONSTANT WARNING EVERYWHERE STEP OF THE WAY, it is on the user if they over do it. not the game or company.
just stop dude
at this point.
you are almost at the OP level of delusion.

This actually just showcases why you ought not to argue ethics with someone who's inherently unethical and will even argue in bad faith. Attacks on character and bigoted inflammatory comments aren't going to make you right, no matter how good you feel about engaging in that behaviour.
I will take your advice though and stop here, I think there's enough between you, me, and the OP for people to draw appropriate conclusions about the subject and even about who's really been acting the fool.
That said, I do genuinely feel sad that you felt it necessary to derail the conversation instead of engage in intellectual debate, it always does suck when cognitive dissonance takes hold and makes one behave completely silly.
I suppose this is the part where I say, "I hope you find peace, sir. Have a good day"

As well, while I won't be engaging with Innuendo anymore,
I do want to give credit to Devourer on this one. Defending oneself from the No True Scotsman style rhetoric of "If you're not all in, you MUST be all out" from someone who argues from a place of ego is very mentally taxing and you did a great job affirming your position clearly.
For new readers to this post, I encourage you to simply fact check the information provided here if you can and come to your own conclusion, while the conversation itself was quite volatile on one side, it's still educational on consumer ethics and the questions you ought to be asking yourself before making a purchase.
Cheers, all!

One thing they don't mention is that all your gear that was in the premium tab will just disappear when you upgrade it to a Merchant's tab. Man, this company sure does like to be obscure and lie to promote their "vision."

wait.
did this kid just literally say im unethical, while agree'n with me on that it was probably the most ethical thing done in gaming history? therefore agree'n with my ethics?
and then talk about my inflammatory comments, while mocking words ive said to him previously?
and then somehow... call me a bigot. for whatever reason. lol.
that i dont want real intllectual debate? regardless of the number of posts.... i just made ... points ive made... counter points...
that he thinks im silly, and using big words to say he thinks im uncomfertable? or stressed?
i noticed he never said anything about me calling him a... hypocrital person. i wonder why.
taking my advise in stopping. is the best possible thing you can do.

eh. you were cool until you spout out some wannabe new york best sellar book about your job. probably in some pretense to give you authority on the subject you were going to try to bring up. ethics. and that crashed the second he agreed with my ethics.
but your words and opinions are a litttttle misguided. there is hope for you yet. i believe in you!
and yes. they should fact check. and they will find how wrong both of you reaaaaaaaaaally are.
and no. it will not educate anyone on ethics. again. what they did, was one of/if not, the most ethical, consumer friendly thing ever in video gaming.
and one sided? i unnnnnnno about one sideeeeeed on the volatility. thats a white lie there at best. i mean the dude just called me a bigot.... lol.
oh and my ego had nothing to do with this. see. when you are right, and do know the facts, and dont need to sugar coat it to please people... it might come off a certain way. and it doesnt matter if it does or doesnt when it is correct. and i am correct. one person was responding with google definitions and feelings. lets be real here. and one was responding with what actually happend and concrete information.

Hey mate, the items should still be there in "remove only" tabs. I think they are hidden by default and can be toggled in the stash. Try doing that, if there's still no items contact support and make a bug report.
