I'm really disappointed in WHY Homogenising Exaltation was removed
|
Who cares about a players ability to make strong gear if this game was really PvE. We don't compete with each other. We are not in a race. And nobody does PvP.
The real reason this change was made is because this game is neither PvE or PvP. Its PvRMT and being able to craft your own gear was cutting into their profits and Tencent's cut. Последняя редакция: Valiantheart99#6915. Время: 5 дек. 2025 г., 09:04:45

" Ok, first of all, you didn't specify you were talking about final season equipment, you said "I don't think I have found a single rare item that was worth using". Second, to be clear: Found items you slam an exalt of two on are still found items in my book, not "crafted". That being said, I really don't know how many found items I still used by the end of the season. I'm playing an ARPG, not "Accountant Office Simulator 2025". I know for sure I've used a lot of found rares far into endgame and even more up to this point. I wish that found items would generally be better and that it wouldn't be a requirement for so many builds to have top shelf gear to even work in endgame, though. |

" 0 and I don't see how this is a problem. By the way, the answer was already 0 in 0.1 before crafting improvement. There is a mode for people who want to play with their own loot, it's called SSF. Myself, I don't care |

It was literally the best crafting improvement... IT HAS TO COME BACK!!!!!!!
|
|
" I mean... what did you think I was talking about? I didn't think I would have to state the obvious, that no one starts crafting items at level one. But as it stands there is a brief period at the beginning of the endgame where drops give you meaningful upgrades, until you have farmed enough omens and other currency to craft better gear. Granted the more casual the player, the longer this period lasts. But for me gear from drops usually starts to become irrelevant after about two to three weeks. |
|
" That's an odd response, since I literally pointed out the exact same thing, that crafted gear was better before omen of homogenization and it will still be better than drops after it's gone. The only thing you got wrong is that SSF doesn't fix that. The difference between SSF and trading is that you have to craft yourself, but you still have to craft, since drops are still shit. So no, SSF is not a solution to this. Now if you are fine with playing crafting simulator that's ok, different players have different preferences. But personally I prefer playing the hack and slay part. Последняя редакция: askii#5202. Время: 5 дек. 2025 г., 09:47:50

I think it was the one thing that kept me playing 0.3 longer than the other seasons.
They could've nerfed it to one per item, or made it so that it cannot roll T1 mods. Now we're back to slam and pray. |

Because they don't want you to guarantee craft a bis piece for every single gear slot?
How is this so hard to understand? If you were not expecting this nerf, you are not understanding what you are playing at all. | |
" Bro crafting was deterministic but not THAT deterministic. Homo exalt omen didnt guaranteed bis gear. If you want to something slightly different, for example armour piece with life you a bit screwed. That was the div sink that we had. Failed to get desired mod? Fine, annul and try again. If you wanna get BiS piece of gear you still have to whittle it with ladder technique which is locked to the richest players where one attempt is ~10div. Thats why i do not understand why to remove it from the game. It was good but not that good. Build variety is also a problem that contributes to this issue. If you do not have enough suffixes on the gear you are going to stack defences / damage all the time.
