As opposed to 0.2 and 0.1 where everyone was running around with items picked up from the ground? Lol

Actually yes, be it self found or traded, most items infact came from the ground with a low % being crafted items, much less deterministically crafted nearly god tier items, even good crafted items (with recombinators and such) usually required ground loot with good rolls to feed the machine, in 0.3 you just picked a white base and crafted a near god tier item for pennies, making any ground loot completely obsolete and not even worth picking up.
