Druid ascedancies have 0 synergy with shapeshifting and wolves

The druid is pointless! all other classes can shapeshift.. and some will do it better then the druid! its a joke! worst class fantasy of druid in any video game! the druid will do nothing other then be a point on the passive tree, its an illusion that we think that we have a new class! (ascendency does nothing for druid) The druid shld always be the master in shapeshifting ITS A DRUID!!!!!! but no its a nothing burger.

Ziggy literally brought this up in the interview and they said anyone can equip the talisman to shapeshift. It is weird they would release two ascendancies not even tied to shapeshifting which would assume the third one will be catered to it but isn't coming out with it

It's quite literally how POE works. It wouldn't make sense for them to lock transformation to only one class. All classes/ascendancies have access to all weapons/skills. That's a core part of POE's design.

Ok but there better be some very good reasons to use druid for shapeshifting over other classes. So far the acendencies dont matter for shapeshifting so anyone wanting Druid specifically for shapeshifting will literally be outdone by the other melee classes which is stupid as hell.

unbound avatar locked to invoker
concoctions locked to pathfinder
etc

it's weird that something so iconically druid is universal when it's handled as Ascendancy-specific for other classes, particularly the concoctions which were generic in PoE. It feels like it was designed that way to block the weapon slot and other classes being able to use Talismans was a side effect of that.

Imo transforming should not be a weapon. Should have either been attached to acendency or maybe druid specific keystones.

Transforming by weapon is fine. Everyone gets access to the "skill" of shapeshifting. What's dumb is that one of the 2 released ascendancies doesn't focus solely on shapeshifting, making Druid the obvious character choice for it.

Solid year of "wtf?" decisions. Can we please get some kind of 3rd party council that he brings the decisions to so they can tell him the truth? Dude must be surrounded by yes-men.

They should have delayed temple and focused on the wholly remade endgame. And if that wasn't enough then delay druid, like they have for a solid year. The only critical things were endgame, which they promised, and performance, which was a nice surprise(assuming it works).

For a holiday release, it sure feels like a sack of coal.
