Yeah. Sadly around the world most common passwords are actually something like "qwerty" or "password". What could possibly go wrong, especially if they can easily find out your username. I always use my PC admin account as admin:admin because nobody would ever guess it.

The second worst thing you can do is run some shady hacks. Reminds me of good old Kazaa with filenames like FULL PCGAME X.exe NO VIRUSES NO HACKS!!!!. Sounds legit, right?

The third most common running same username/password combo in multiple sites. Some fansite forum might not have same security and be easier to hack. But this would indeed be an real hacking.

The least likely option is that something with decent security gets hacked for real.

EDIT: forgot phishing emails/PMs but shouldn't be too hard to spot one if you use your brains

For the exact personality traits you described. Why would he care enough to ask to have his account deleted and why would GGG oblige. Just sounds odd is all.
