So melee still sucks, can we get a comment from GGG?

People, people, please, I'll spell it out for you.

It doesn't matter what build was used in that video, it doesn't matter that it was discharge, it's all irrelevant!

What is relevant is this:

1. The person in the video got 1 shot
2. The person in the video had a really tanky character

And this brings us to the issue of: If you are melee, and have no choice but to...melee, you will get one-shot no matter what? As seen in the video above.

there will always be an instance where u get hit with a totem up, unless your ranged
especially with onslaught 20%ias on kole, he desyncs more often and can smash thru u and ur totem is less than a second. o dont forget about the temp chain caster with him that can also spawn as champs.

especially with onslaught 20%ias on kole, he desyncs more often and can smash thru u and ur totem is less than a second. o dont forget about the temp chain caster with him that can also spawn as champs.



Clear temp chains caster first (use quicklsilver to have good mobility while you clear them).

Then set decoy totem in such manner that you can hit kole from behind. Keep track on Kole's animations as well.

Never position your totem and yourself in such way that he can hit you both at the same time with AoE.

Kole shouldn't be able to 1-hit your totem, specially if enfeeble is up. This gives you time to get a few hits in, before you need to recast totem.

Onslaught is a different matter. Balance should be made with Default and Hardcore in mind, not the special leagues.

There r plenty more ways to die to physical dmg.

The problem is that you think there is something wrong with the current design. It is great that even the most experienced players need to focus well to not die against Kole as melee. That's great design.
