Just a conclusion i want to talk about. I think, that you´re forced to take more "survivability" nodes + skills then a ranged char and therefor can´t skill "as much" into damage nodes then ranged chars can.
Is this correct? Right or wrong? What can never be lent or earned?

Not exactly, forced to take all life nodes and to use Determinatino, Endurance Charges Enfeeble and Granites on top of that

" can you provide some exact builds normalized by gear cost? Dps can not account for projectile proliferation , splash, or aoe potential. Right now I dont think any mainstream build can outdps lowlife FP. At the end of the day melee and ranged build exactly the same and the damage difference is negligible for comparable builds except for the intrinsic property of being able to damage something without needing to be in melee range. problem is ranged has no penalty for being ranged right now
they do just as much damage if not more than melee but they get the benefit of being out of the enemy's grasp "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

point blank should be applied to ranged and 0 damage outside screen. the point blank keystone should apply only to mobs within less range.
mele still suks despite anything ggg did to improve it. the reduction in hp and damage wasnt enough for mobs considering real damages ppl take vrs the reduced hp in passives. tbh armor is still as useless or more now with evasion changes. u are better off going pure evasion/hp than even thinkin about going pure armor now. enfeeble is godly. Now that my Duelist is getting up in level and is becoming a god I'm really starting to think this is just a l2p issue.
