Horrible lag in PoE only... offline mode

To say the game is unplayable due to desync is a gross over-exaggeration. If you don't like it, and don't like the game because of it, why are you even wasting your time on here bitching about a game you don't like? I don't understand...go play Grim Dawn if you want it, there's no reason to be overly negative and trash on the devs, saying you wish the game will fail because of this issue. That's being extremely childish in my opinion. Life is short, go find something that doesn't make you angry and enjoy that! GGG will be fine, I doubt they're looking towards Blizzard levels of monetary success with such a niche game.

Its funny cause people talks about netcode and stuff, while yesterday (thursday) had no lag and only 1 single desync. Yes, 1 single desync. I couldnt believe it.

Today (friday) horrible lag and desyncs. So what does this mean? the servers cant work with these numbers of users.

From 8pm to 11pm (gmt+1) i have 300 minimum ms to 1065ms and so i cant play, just chatting or trading, i tried to play other games, it work perfectly always 10ms to 35ms. SO PoE is the prob, how can we fix it ?

Its not gross over-exaggeration. Imagine Dying a lot from desync. Don't rebut me because it happens!

I bitch about lag BECAUSE i love this game. It's a great game, really, and it's a real shame that it's being wasted by these awfull lags.

Desync is about 1/5 of the problem. The rest is genuine lag. Honest to goodness latency, and graphics not loading properly. It's not my internet or PC(sounds familiar doesn't it).

I play other games, zero issues. POE is the only game that performs badly.

I actually CAN'T play the game in a party, it increases the lag to an unmanageable level.

What's funny though is that is scales with the level of the game. The further into the game i go, the worse it gets! This, coupled with COC, discharge and other specific skills and attacks more consistently causing lag than anything else. I know i'm not the only one as i see "no lag skills" in the map groups pretty often.

I'm not sure why, but i don't think the graphics are loading properly/quickly enough, causing the game to choke, and that causes the lag. Or maybe the calculations from certain attacks are too complex, which takes too long, or whatever. IDK. I too wish i could just play solo... offline.


Also, slow down the hyperactive Exiles. Not every char is physically fast enough to pin then down while they run around like a broken AI Pukey-bird.
