Sorry, but the chisel recipe is pain in the ass

GGG wants uns to observe every single white item that drops?
after so many hours spend into the game i dont even realize white or blue drops.
to have to watch out now for stone hammers (and fishing rods) seems very sadistic imo.

i have only high level chars, so the vendor isnt realy helpful with that.
am i supposed to slow down my map clear time by 400% just to turn every white item back and forth?

on top of that its a low level item.

I have given up looking for white stone hammers in maps. Done it for maybe two dozen maps, never saw one drop. I wish the higher tier versions of stone hammers would also work with the recipe.

im staring the whole day on my screen due my job. if i come home to have some fun in poe i just cant check every white item one by one. my eyes bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.

adjusting the colors would help.
an orb color that is not almost white would help a lot.
recipe items should have their own color too or an icon beside the name.

this would also help finding the hidden recipes no one cares about to find them because its pointless without hints.

One a more serious note, I don't see this happening, it does not seem to be what GGG wants for PoE at all.

It's useful if you happen to be leveling another char so you can farm normal diff. vendors each lvlup, but generally it's a contrived BS recipe that doesn’t help high lvl mappers at all.

I wish they would just raise the drop rate of chisels directly.

Oh boys, you don't get it at all. You are not supposed to use the recipe at all. That's the job of poor low level chars. You are supposed to buy chissels from them. That's it.

We got chissels farmers, alt farmers, chrom farmers etc. Overspecialization. All of the MMOs are about that.

And besides that it's good for economy.

NEver used this recipe, I prefer to keep my maps or vendor them to igher level ones. But if you need these Hammers, just buy them fom NPC's in lower difficults. The hammers are pretty common there I once checked it and I found instant 3 hammers from one single NPC. Multiplicate this with the number of charas you have and you should get enough hammers for the recipe. Quicker and more efficient than waiting for drop luck. ;)
