Also, the debate is usually about the practical impact of desync rather than its existence. On my summoner, desync has zero practical impact and I only notice that it's there when loot is not where I see it (appears in front of my character but is really across the screen). My cyclone duelist, on the other hand, was shelved because desync had a crippling practical impact. I would, however, like to see "particle quality" as an entry in the Graphics tab under Options (no "off" option, but "low" and "high"). " The ability to turn off weather effects is pretty common, and I dare say: almost standard, in video games today. I'd not care for a toggle if they were better optimized. There is really no reason why these rather simplistic effects lower my framerate by twenty on a fairly good system that has no trouble running far better looking games. I don't know what you mean by "white night", but where I come from the White Nights are an infamous group of racists, and I take offense at being linked to them in any way, shape, or form, even as a joke. Get a better one, I suggest something fishing related. 3. Sounds like you haven't actually read many of my posts. I shout, I scream, I threaten to quit and never come back like an 8 year old, and I make my feelings very clear when changes are made that I don't like or don't agree with. The thing I don't do is make repeated posts talking about what a terrible game this is, while still playing it and stiring up shit on the forums. When I get pissed off with the game, I write and angry rant or two (either here on the forums, or occasionally to GGG directly), and then I leave it. I go and find something better to do. When inevitably the time comes that there is nothing better to do and I find myself coming back, I stop complaining, because that's how it works. You can't sit around crying like a little girl on the forums all day about what a terrible game this is, and then just keep playing it day in day out. It makes you look silly. " This greatly summarizes what many of the most vocal "complainers" seem to do. They say how they have played for 1k+ hours then just call everything about PoE terrible after enjoying the game for so long. They call anyone who disagrees with them a whiteknight. These people who you call whiteknights also have strong opinions and criticisms. I heavily criticize desync(and absolutely hate it) but I'm not going to make 20 daily topics when GGG has already said they want to fix it more than anybody.
