I guess they will create corruption orbs that can change color of 1 slot per item. Probably the new orb must be more expensive than an eternal...
Maybe they add some "useful recipe" as sacrificing 1 tabula rasa + 1 exalted + 1 divine to get the corruption orb. :/

Why should the tree be destroyed? Items have nothing to do with the tree only gems in items do. Your comment made no sense.

What if it means Corrupted items / gems stack corrupting blood on the user on use?

Maps clearly could have the mod.

In the upcoming expansion if they add on that island for where Atziri will be, the island itself may be entirely corrupted until she is defeated, cluing in to the area portion of the text. Much like it is dark and raining blood when Dominus changes form.

Edit* Clearly says nothing about the skill tree, as would be ludacris to think something permanent would be able to affect each skill tree individually.

This would force you to recreate characters over and over in order to min-max.

How many clues do you people need?

Ok i read it as "skill, gems" but the text saids "skill gems" so my mistake.
But i cant image that areas and maps gets detroyed and there has to at least be some synergy between the different corruptions.
