Again I ask, dogface, where they ever said what you are claiming they said. It's only hypocritical if they actually said that a unique would never be a BiS item for any build. So you need to get tons of Stats through your passives and you just loose 50% of possible Skills. 1. The wand isn't even close to BiS. 2. Uniques can be BiS in very specific scenarios, nothing wrong about that. 3. GGG didn't break their promise. Only BiS I see in this game is the Atziri Gloves. And I wouldn't have a problem with them at all if GGG didnt nerf Vaal Pact the same time they released the gloves. It is hypocrisy. If Vaal Pact was OP, then gloves should never made into game like that, if Gloves are OK, then Vaal Pact should never have been nerfed. Try using Incinerate with those gloves and let me know how BiS they are. Also, if a particular build is based off an item and that item is a unique item I think it would be hard to find an item for that build that was better than the item used to build it.
