Why does GGG not keep their promise?

He gets 37k with his nice rare wand -- which honestly, you will NOT be getting a better rare wand than the one he shows there, not in a 4-month. He gets 60k with his mirrored tyrranical/glyphic/flaring wand (t1 flat phys, t1 spell dmg, t1 IPD) - with t1 crit/attack speed etc. You can't get better than that. So basically, the unique wand is so good that it is essentially impossible to beat in a 4-month league. Your only chance would be to buy something worth a minimum of 150 exalts in Standard, or to mirror one -- again in Standard. So yes, I'd say it's pretty fucking close to BiS. We could calculate how good a wand would have to be to match or beat, but it's going to be something that is nearly unobtainable in comparison. GGG kinda sucks at item balance. ggg says they balance for temp leagues.
these uniques that are released are pretty much BiS in temp leagues. nice balance |

and it's only 30% better than some trashy unique that will drop thousands of times during a 4-month league? lol again: nice balance ;) also, i'd like to point out that you will never see a wand like his in a 4-month league. it's possible, but it would take the concentrated effort of hundreds/thousands of eternals to be accumulated and spent in a very short time frame. good luck Последняя редакция: Veruski#5480. " Not sure if trolling or just...idk. Do you really compare phys and ele dmg ? There is absolutely _no_ proof. One wand is totally phys oriented, the other totally ele. You cannot compare these, because with both wands you totally build in a different way. i.e.: phys wand goes for sure eldar power + north cluster (near the curse nodes), ele for sure will go in the direction of templar to grab catalyse, etc. e1: the power and possible builds with the unique wand are plain outrageous. " by that logic, i propose the following: compute the maximum dps on every single rare weapon, for every type of build possible. the weapons must be perfectly rolled and perfectly divined. now, make a unique version of each rare weapon for each build that has 99% of the dps of the rare. see? the rare is still best in slot! everything is fine! right? good strategy, very balanced...also very "creative" and "ingenious." totally unbelievable creativity on the part of GGG. nothing to see here folks, just "build enabling" unique items!
