Yeah, I got bottlenecked by at least 1 RNG-only challenge every time the challenge leagues have been around. 5-8 hours a day, 5 days a week for 4 weeks and nothing for 3 leagues. Bull shit is what that is.

Pretty much agree Anuhart. I hope they do a complete rework of how the challenges function for next league. I'm not sure what they could do (other than starting by moving the prize to something digital, maybe) but making the whole thing based around getting to the 17th RNG gate hundreds of times and praying for a 1% drop is maddening. The price he paid me reflects the huge insurance you're getting by locking it down.



All else aside, congrats to Dom on the huge 8/8 in the hardest set of challenges yet. (by FAR)

but yah it's a ridiculous challenge. Killing uber a dozen times is fine as a challenge but with the current RNG even 70+ times not giving the axe is ridiculous.

By that logic anyone who trades frequently is a RMTer(or involved with RMT). Anyways with all that uber farming it shouldn't seem so odd that he has so much currency. Uber was extremely profitable early on.

That is pretty much the logic I'm using, yes. The entire 'economy' and all of its contributors are guilty by unknowing and known association.

You can't be serious, sure RMT is present somewhere along the line but I can 100% guarantee you that the 6 people who got 8* so far have done so 100% legitimately. You can be guaranteed that the people who got the challenges complete will have been scrutinized by GGG.

They would have to check the backlogs until day 1 from the league, i hardly think it is feasible for a company like GGG to do this.

Look at it like this, you buy $$$ a build to start of with. Every other wealth generated after this is pure profit that can be utilized to manipulate further wealth.

While other players not utilizing $$$ actually have to utilize that first wealth to make there build successful.

And wealth has an exponential increase over time within a league, the earlier you "hit it" the bigger the accumulation will be.

People could be utilizing $$$ to enter the league and then simply stop that action, because they already "got ahead" of all the normal players.

Now if GGG does not check the logs until that initial phase of the league, everything will appear legit.

note : i am not saying this is what the people who achieved 8* are doing, just an observation of how wealth act's in this game and that people don't have to go full-on $$$ to gain long term benefits of it.
