Do you know, GGG don't monitor D*j*p forums because, well, players are clever enough to use different names.

And because of that, a player can actually use the exact same name on those boards as their PoE account name. They can advertise for FG, items that they also link in GGG's very forum.

They can sell items for FG, advertise in FG -> receive FG offer -> accept FG offer -> remove item from sales list and from GGG thread, receive FG and no longer have the items.

WITH THE SAME FUCKING NAME.

Well you should report them.
Fuck that, I'm not reporting anyone when GGG won't even do the basics.

Then, when someone (not me) did report them, they get a ban, post on that other forum for people to watch out and warn that I (me TheAnuhart) is lurking and reporting (really funny, this). Admit to being too blatant and careless while knowingly breaking the rules repeatedly over a long period. Brag that they were tipped off and managed to move most stuff to another account. Be told by other posters they can get unbanned if they say they didn't know it was against ToU. And low and behold, the ban must have lasted all of a day as their post history right here had only a 1 day break.

What I 'propose they do what they are not already doing', Ray, is either back up their stance and ToU or drop the pretence.

It's the pretence that bugs me.

IMO they are fighting RMT pretty well. Just look at how much of the spam has disappeared from in game chats and pm's. That alone is more than many big game companies have managed to pull off.

Just because you think they should do this or that differently is not a fair reasoning to say they are doing nothing.

If it didn't qualify you for plumber of the year award.

The award is simply do all 8 challenges. It is not player of the year or anything like that.

A better comparison would be a "best house" reward. You could build the best home yourself, or simply shell out $$$ to get it, the reward is not mutually exclusive to either scenario.

The only "reasonable" answer to SFL, is a SFL tag in players that disabled certain functions and creating a separate SFL ladder to allow competition in this mode within the already existing league's.

But even then, people will find loopholes and QQ will be inevitable.

The special mtx's were different. Simple game limitations imo. Its difficult for the game to know the difference between a player who is being carried and payed for it as opposed to a fellow team member or supporter.

Its supposed to be a fun challenge anyways and you are taking it too seriously. Even though I never got it or even bothered to try I thought the idea was fun and am glad this game has things like that. The people who rip on GGG (a small indie company) for making small mistakes in situations like these are ridiculous. Would you rather have no challenges at all?
