He's talking about 73+ map drops being very luck based. While one person can break into the 77s with a few 75s it can take another 30 maps. That is what he means by luck based and inconsistent endgame.

It has nothing to do with items.


Charan is blissfully unaware of this part of the game. And i don't think he has any intention to change that.

The fact that you created 10 of them just show how efficient were they or how fun they were to die with. There is build diversity, there are those 3 good builds, and hundreds more that plain suck compared to the 3 that are good. Problem is, gearing any of the 3 is beyond reach for many players and having 7K dps at lvl 75 is far from fun.

On the other side, most games are like this so there's nothing new here really.

I listed builds in the next page that have been very successful in nemesis/hc. Try again. Some builds are harder to build than others but there is many cheap and easy builds.

But dude, you class sticking a different Gem in the socket of a different chestpiece as a different 'build'. It's not a different 'build', it's the same build using different skills and gear.

Are you being sarcastic? If a build has any of these then it's "different":

- Different passive skilltree.
- Different linked skills.
- Different use of unique gear.

All my listed builds just so happen to fit all 3 criteria. They all have different passives, different skills and different uniques.

No, I'm not being sarcastic.

You're basically saying that every RPG ever made has 'unlimited builds', because every character you make will wear a different item of clothing, hold a different weapon and choose a slightly different passive point.
There is always going to be heavy overlap. what exactly do you define as a build and how different do you think builds have to be in order to be called unique?

Are you looking at the tree, the gear, the active skills, the playstyle of the active skills or some goopy mess consisting of all 4?

I'm not talking about two FP builds that decide to take a few different nodes. I'm talking about one FP build deciding to go full block, using ironwill, using a completely different passive skilltree and another going for CI + crit + different links.

I'm also not talking about two different rare chests. I mention "unique" items specifically since they can be build defining. Whether you use shavronne, cloak of defiance or lightning coil they're all built very differently.

All the builds I have made played very differently and did quite good. There is still many more.

I haven't been on forums for a couple of weeks, wtf has happened? I just read page 1 and almost puked.
