In terms of the reduced mana situation, please explain why you think my idea is terrible, preferably in that thread, just saying its terrible isn't useful AT ALL. Scrotie has posted in the thread on why he thinks so, but his idea of making quality auras some other bonus does directly against a design choice they made when they did make the currently quality bonus (which is absolutely dumpster)

I don't think they are just ignoring the feedback given but rather want people to honestly have the time to try said purposed change before mixing it up. TBH I'd appreciate it if they would post and say they will investigate other options rather then changing this underused gem, that IMO would have a purpose after the level 20 gem changes.

People that are saying fortify is too strong probably haven't reached all the endgame content in order to fully test. Not to mention the fact melee technically was playable before just not that good, with the other changes they've made melee will be something people want to play, which IMO is a good thing.

Anyway I'm definitely playing melee. With GGGs scorched earth nerf and buff tactic they make it obvious which way wind is supposed to blow every patch.

I wont even use auras either. Just 100% fat MoM reserve.

4-5 points is literally no investment for a keystone that has 0 downsides....

Investment is more then just points, its gear, playstyle, ect.

You no longer have ES.
You ONLY increase your eHP if you go MoM or cloak.
To get the increased eHP you give up on stacking auras.


So let's see,

Points
ES
Offensive auras
Defensive auras

Totally no investment.
The majority of builds I played would never even consider EB.
Those who did, took it to convert ES into mana for the purpose of stacking more offensive auras and mana regen.

Not once did a spell caster of mine take EB.
Not once did I wear CoD.
NOT ONCE DID I PLAY FIRE TRAP OR FLAMEBLAST.

EB was never broken, at least not until beta 2.0.0.
