Ziziran posted his fight with Shaper. He had some shitty rare items (6k hp, 4k ES), and he could walk through that "omfg so broken op shit laser", so guy from 1st video had 0 defence at all. As long as you have dmg and you can kill Shaper before he spawns 10+ void zone, the fight is easier that Malachai Core. Honestly though, i really dont even care...the community has done this to themselves. They have repeatedly allowed the 1% to ask for more content and have repeatedly asked for the best builds to be nerfed. Well here we go boys time to death zerg the shapper fight. Yeah Ziz's video shows that mutigation helps a lot but you still need to dodge everything except this balls that spawn void circles, or you will get hit for at least 4k per second. And Void Slam will kill you regardless. This fight requires you to constantly dodge stuff - it's mechanically challenging. Life based builds are screwed here for good. So yeah - enjoy your 5% more damage buffed melee boys. Yeah, I also hope they won't nerf it a single bit. the pretty big hits all seem avoidable. enough with the nerfs already, jesus, this game is getting easier and easier. its always same shit. People ask for harder content then they baw that they cant AFK AT ENDGAME BOSSES. Honestly, mechanically speaking this fight looks easier than atziri. There's more space to avoid things and as long as you dont run into telegraphed attacks or set the degen pools in a very shitty way you should be ok. Aren't u need to only dodge Flameblast during Atziri's fight and even then you can take it? (And if you care about reflect - control who you attack during Clone phase) Here you need to dodge everything during constant spam of attacks and should navigate through / deal with circles of void. And if you do one mistake - anything can kill you during Shaper fight. It sure seems more annoying with Shaper's life pool + OP punishing attacks + need to travel map to reach next stage though. I hate Malachai's version, but at least you still have time to move when you see him appear near you. Shaper already blows you up at that point. Shaper already blows you up at that point. these telegraph problems occured in act 4 aswell. piety would just laser at any random place. now it is much more telegraphed. i have no problem with needing to dodge 1000 different things, and needing to have very good build/gear. this is the biggest boss ever. it should be that way. the only problem is the telegraphs. Did you even watched any Shaper fight? Both attacks (laser and tp-slam) are easy to spot. Before he cast laser, he raise his hands, you have like 1 second (or even more) to dodge it. Before he use slam, he become "purple", so you know that you have to move, because he will tp to you and use slam. Watch Ziziran fight, he (witch friend) spotted EVERY single use of laser and slam.
