Delve sucks

It's a plausible-sounding theory, but look around this forum: Almost all the old-timers are picking the content apart, and we are all criticizing the exact same things.

Clearly the problems are obvious enough for even experienced players to see.

I must say you out did yourself this time GGG and the fanboys wow reading this posting reminds me there is always a butt sucker someplace. This is about the worst i have ever seen you make a game it has all the earmarks of a true game killer good thing this is free .
To much hate in this thread. Have to say that i enjoy delve. Even while lvling.

The problem is that you guys just want to rush. I am happy it is not a timer league again.
Since it has the most posts I'd also like to share my thoughts on Delve league as well entire PoE 3.4 here.

Main issue: another league-another fast meta deadly content.

I don't like the fact that you can't just gather more sulphur to leave the main quest and focus fully on the mining adventure. It's like, 3-4 runs and going back to quests, rinse & repeat. Another league and same GGG's mistake. They throw at you new content at every corner even during first acts. Please stop it. The whole point of new content is always a new Challenger and adventure, which is unplayable for low level character anyway. It disturbs the main plot and makes the game harder (especially if it's on the same map). What a horrible mess Perandus did. It was great, but only during maps, before: unplayable - deaths every single time. Same here. Upgrading sulphure size is just like... meh. No, feck it. I can't ignore Niko, because filling it and then wasting it...

Another mistake from Bestiary - hotkeys for mine items. And it doesn't work fluid and transparent enough.

Of course breaking walls... I don't even try, I don't even know where to look. Darkness, ambiguous mechanic, expensive upgrades and explosives. This whole shit is unbalanced, not to mention that Incursion gave me a great reward from the start (well, after the new character became strong enough to not be killed in few seconds :P), while here... the reward feels too far away. I can buy some craft-related items, which seem pretty boring and have the purpose of alchemy/chaos orb, no thank you. Only currency room is worthwhile, but since it's too rare after I've done it all I was left with nothing interesting.

This league has potential, but right now... it's broken, frustrating and boring. But nice filter from Diablo 3 :P (marking valuable items). Even party system is now closer to Diablo 3. The only missing thing is teleport directly to party member and the emblem :P Oh, and I hope that instant skill system will cover more skills, because now for example SRS in practice feels like channeling, while it's not by definition. Attacking/casting while moving would be cool. Channeling skills and normal skills are pretty much the same shit right now, that's why people prefer summons/trap/totems. Why bother standing in the game you die in 1 sec... Good changes are coming, but it's just not there yet.

My favorite feature is when you cleared a zone and got some XP, you hit a different waypoint in the mine, and the darkness kicks in killing you while it's attempting to load/transfer you to the other waypoint.

That ALMOST just happened to me the last time I went in. I was like, WTF?!!!

And let's face it, getting a crapload of stuff is useless when you have no place to put it all.

The crawler NEEDS to be upgradable as a STORAGE unit!

And FIX the blasted darkness closing in when you're moving to a new location!!!!

I have no idea what farming OGs has to do with having difficulty entering mud flats. What do you mean, having difficulty? Is it crashing? That's hardly league feedback then.

Your 'so' makes no sense at all, unless you can prove that farming OGs directly causes crashing. Learn the difference between causality and coincidence.


Game crashes very often.

Entering Mud Flats from The Coast - most likely game crash. After restarting it works but then leaving Mud Flats - game crash.

Also i can not go into mine camp (quest from Nico) because game crash every time. No matter the settings i choose.

The interesting part - i play on DX9 and if i try to switch off shadows game crashes but after restart shadows are again on.

Is farming OG a cause of that? Dunno but from what i see im one of a few that actually did this and im probably the only one - based on feedback to my thread on forum - that facing this issue. So maby there is some factor just making a note for anyone who checks the code. Also game worked great while farmin, problems started after leaving Lioneye Watch.

No i see there is some patch. Gonna see if this helps.

This is very true, and GGG is actually proud of it (boasting that only the top players are invited to test). This is why all the new content since streaming became a big thing is tuned toward meta clear speed as the testers only play that way and know how to do it. Relying on guys who only need 2 hours to speed rush a new character through act 10 will really skew your releases badly.
Originally I thought delves will be

1) alternative leveling system, but they are not. you cant replace boring ass storyline with delves.

2) alternative endgame, but they are not. you cant spend there desirable amounts of time because its gated by another boring ass sulphite grind.

Ironically its amazing how developers are afraid of experimenting, its like someone decided that mapping is the only endgame, and they afraid to change this.

Extremely disappointing and I'm very close to stop supporting developers. So, yes, delve sucks for me.
