a.Skitterbotts. Insane minion speed plus dps extras. No need for convocation at all. They are hanging skin Usain Bolts now. They have 3 spectres granting us frenzies too. You won't get late to your Blight date with your skeleton girlfriend.

Are you sure about this? I notice absolutely no difference whatsoever in regards to minion speed, are you referring to just the skitterbots or are you saying the skitterbots increase the other minions movement speed?

Summon skitterbots summons 2 bots, 1 with a chill aura and 1 with a shock aura, they also gain shock/chill effect per level, up to 19% each at level 20.

So, why is that a big deal?

Well, shock itself is 24% increased damage taken.

Thanks for the info on what the skill gem does, if only there was a handy place to read what a skill gem does in the game when you hover over it.....


My post was pretty clear and specific to the quoted statement and even more specific to the movement speed aspect of OTHER summoned minions which is what is implied by the author of the originally quoted post. Hes claiming this makes minions "insane speed plus dps" wont even need convocation which further implies he is talking about all summoned minions. I spent an entire map swapping skitter off and back on over and over and running circles, theres no difference either way in the move speed of my blob of minions.

Right and im saying thats local, meaning its applying to the skitters only. Try it out and tell me what you think, walk around with a blob of minions with and without skitter and tell me if you think your minions move 120% faster when skitters up.

I am not saying you are wrong or right, i am just saying what the description says, wether it works or not doesn't bother me, minions are close to me then its good, they are not "convocation".

On the other hand, if what you say is right then its either "bugged" or the description is misleading, good luck finding that out dr. watson :)

I've got a noob crafting question (Blight is my first league).

Does "Alt spam until you hit +1 to Socketed Gems AND Level 18/20 Maim on Hit." only work on a six linked mace or am I just unlucky (about 1000 Alts so far)?

ArisFuser was mistaken on that. Skitterbots movespeed is local and does not affect our other minions.

The key aspects you need to focus on are that the you are using any style of two handed mace, and the mace needs to be at least item level 75.

1000 Alts is not unlucky, that's just below average so far so keep spamming. It took me around 4000, but then RNG played nice with me elsewhere as I six linked in about 40 fuses and I Annulled the correct mod off first time so I didn't need to spend a fortune on the imprint stage.
