Changes to Path of Exile's Account System

The numbers are ugly as sin. Having same name with different numbers is the worst decision. Now people will scam others even more.

OG account name holders should be number free and only those made after this change would have a number. Isnt it going to be a scammers paradise now?
I dislike this change a lot. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |

If I don't have purchase receipts of microtransactions on Xbox, so I cant merge it with PC account?

What I'm hearing is that I won't actually be able to use my old microtransactions in the future, as I was initially led to believe. I am still looking forward to trying Path of Exile 2, but it looks like I wont be making any new purchases until Sony stops holding my previous supporter packs hostage.

What I hate about this is I didn't get a chance to select it. I picked my name 12 years ago. I liked it. I wanted to keep it. I don't like 2816. This irks me way more then it should. I hope we can change it one day. I don't think it's about the number even, if it's 0001, or 3123. I think the thing I'm finding unsettling here is I didn't pick it. Give me a Orb of Discriminator and let me shuffle around my own. I will control it. It's my name. | |
