I love Trial of the Sekhemas
That's all. One of the things I look forward to most when spinning up a new character is the rite of passage that is the trial of Sekhemas, ESPECIALLY 4th floor.
My favorite character I first try'd the 4th floor with was Earthshatter Titan. The music, the setting, the one-attempt-per-barya, and the randomness of the boons. I loved Sanctum and I love the sekhemas. Последняя редакция: Kaboinglefop#0955. Время: 8 янв. 2025 г., 14:05:27 Last bumped1 мая 2025 г., 18:04:29

" I genuinely enjoy it. It's a rite of passage, it's fun for me. But I also recognize that people don't like stuff like that in zoom blasty games, so maybe GGG should add a ruthless mode where you have to ascend and more grounded player/monster balance, and have the default be ascend-for-free, 6 portals, and lots of damage multipliers like poe1. |

I love sauerkraut but I don't force it on people that don't. I don't think most players have any problem with Trials being in the game. Just that content is gated behind it.

I really like the idea behind trial of the Sekhemas... Honour is a neat mechanic that offers a unique challenge. Unfortunately, a lot of people either don't want ascending to be a challenge, or they can't stand it being more difficult for some builds than others. I'm hopeful that GGG can improve the trial system so that more people are happy, but mostly keep it intact.

" Hence why I think GGG needs to change their mind on Ruthless, highlighted in another one of my responses in this thread. Some players like power gated behind "aspirational" content that might not be completable. And a bulk of players probably don't! |
