I love Trial of the Sekhemas
There's one thing that's great about Sekhemas - it made me appreciate the original labyrinth, which I never thought was possible. At this point I'm actually looking forward to ascend in labyrinths in 3.26.

" I loved the labs when they first came out, but I didn't like how little of a threat a lot of it presented. It didn't feel like a "trial" These really feel like a trial, at least until you overgear them. |

" this doesnt promote build diversity. currently the name of the game is to stack armor to reduce the damage done to honor on top of the resists.....youre asking people to change their entire build to only do this one trial that is silly in my book after spending the entire campaign getting a feel for your specific build and loving it...then going into trial and it saying....sorry your build sucks for just this one part of the game....but end game and all other content youre doing great while i understand some people like the challenge. its not an even challenge across the board and thats a problem. they need to properly and evenly challenge it. currently the trials are very very punishing and even end game is very punishing...the only "fun" to play builds currently are just the exploity ones. i do not have fun at all for a regular walk through and going slow build in poe2 poe1 i could have....but poe2 i cant even do half the endgame bosses because its just all avoiding damage and a split second of dps and that is what the final boss for sehkema feels like. sure they can switch to trial of chaos....but its so overly punishing that it just doesnt feel fun Последняя редакция: sekushiiandee#4336. " Sekhema is a completely free mechanic for any build, melee or not. There is no "melee" issue in Sekhemas AT ALL. If you think so then you are just playing a bad build straight up. Sekhemas is bad because it's boring, all the rooms are boring, and the entire system is just tedious and annoying and takes forever to do and you HAVE TO do it over and over and over if you want Timeless Jewels. And it's the same every single time. The only thing that varies is how much it screws you over that run with unavoidable RNG afflictions. Последняя редакция: Kashou#2868. " You do not have to stack armor or avoid melee for Sekhema. I've done it enough across characters to say this with confidence. L take. I also am of the opinion extra player power should be aspirational, and not a given. I love a game like that. BUT given how much of the population is based on participation trophy gaming, maybe we should just add a Ruthless with the current poe systems, and make a normal mode with free ascendancies, 6 portals, buffed multipliers and nerfed monsters for everyone else. I'm fully aware I am in the minority of challenge-loving gamer. |

My main thing that annoys me is the fact that we have hit-based damage reduction in the game AND the fact that honor resistance is even a thing.
Remove honor resistance, make it 75% by default by the least. Make it work with armour. That way you could still tank hits, especially if you're somewhat insane and going into something like thorns. |
