I love Trial of the Sekhemas
apart from the bossess in sekhemas, i don't find anything to be fun between the rooms...at all...

" Yes, but being forced to farm or trade for relics just to beat a mechanic that is irrelevant everywhere else in the game (where you actually get the ascendancy for) is just bullshit. And even if your relics are good, your run can still be screwed up because so many of the afflictions are way overtuned and it's almost pure RNG how many afflictions or boons you will collect. I've ended 3 floor runs with 9 afflictions and 2 boons and also one with only 3 afflictions and 9 boons. It's totally random. |

" I love the rooms, camera bugs need to be fixed but I like the layouts, music, enemy placement, themes. It's just great for me, I love it just like I love the campaign. |

As a Roguelike enjoyer, I enjoy Sekhemas as well.
I can see why people would be frustrated to do it for the Ascension, but I think people are exaggerating. |

Glad you like it.
I don't, but mostly because that the fourth trial seems WAY off in progression. Like, I more or less one-shot Citadel bosses and the Breach Boss, but the fourth boss in Sekhemas has 10 times their health, it seems. So I'm just wondering when are we actually supposed to get the last points? Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" +1 and trail of chaos is my favorite. |

" I ascended all my characters in the 4th trial around lvl 70-80. The 4th boss has HP, so you actually have to play the mechanics, but overall he is quite benign. |

" I've fought him several times, I know the fight. No matter WHEN you do him, he still has more health than the late endgame bosses, which again begs the question "why" and "when are you supposed to ascend". Again, you clearly see it as perfect without flaws and will defend everything, which is perfect for you. I see it as bad progression, no matter how "benign" the boss is - he's still harder and takes longer than Tier 15+ bosses and Citadel bosses, which is strange. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" That just means the endgame bosses need to be buffed. If you are killing bosses before experiencing their mechanics, either your build needs to be nerfed, or the boss is undertuned and needs a buff. :) One of my favorite sekhema runs was a 15+ minute final boss where I used flashbangs and ripwires as DPS. Build was complete trash, but it felt great to overcome it. I felt the same when Sirus first came out and I did my first SSFHC Sirus clear with 150k DPS. Последняя редакция: Kaboinglefop#0955. I love getting disconnected on that 4th floor and losing the progress.
