I love Trial of the Sekhemas

There's one thing that's great about Sekhemas - it made me appreciate the original labyrinth, which I never thought was possible. At this point I'm actually looking forward to ascend in labyrinths in 3.26.

In the end PoE 2 EA is a massive propaganda to lure people back to PoE 1 3.26.

GGG: "Look peeps thats is the future, did you like it? No. So, comeback to your beloved PoE 1 3.26, Izaro waits all of you in the Labyrinth!"
There were folks who liked Sanctum as well. Each product has its customers. No reason to force the least popular content in PoE1 on everyone. Its not like GGG did not know that Sanctum was the most hated and the least played league.

I really hope thats not the case or they will lose me.
Trials are just terrible content.

I avoid them.
I don't look forward to doing them.
I don't enjoy them while doing them.
I take no joy in completing them,
More like the relief after a heavy sweaty rock hard shit.
You are so glad it's over and so relieved and would NEVER want to do it again.

In their current state there is no question you could go to someone who likes the game, got to maps .. ask em .. wanna play again from the start... probably not.
They are making a one and done game.

I need to force myself to play.
I would like to check out maps I barely started.
I do need the 3 and 4 so I should do them, I sit open the launcher... think about doing the trials ...
And instead read forum posts.
go to Reddit..
watch a streamer for a bit ...
its unappealing enough its in the background right now..
3 or 4 times failed on the trials today.

Melee class on the 2 sentinels, my longest range attack requires i get so close i cant get out without trading hits, with both swinging and the AOE range.

Its so unappealing for me to waste the time playing content i hate.
I hate every room leading up to it.
I hate the puzzles and just say screw it and run through them at this point
sometimes i make it sometimes i don't i don't care, i wont engage with it.
If i die ill quit the game and go watch a movie, i wont play that crap on principal at this point.

I don't read the rooms anymore, I don't care im completely checked out.

I hate the stay alive hourglass .
I can tolerate the ..just run to the end of the map ...

Over and over and over the shittiest content i can imagine.
and GGG wants you to keep on enjoying that shit content over and over.

I'm hoping against all hope that the OP was being sarcastic?

The Trials of Sekhema are the worst possible means to do a "Skills check" or "Build Check", as the first thing that they do with the all the debuffs is break your build and handicap your character so much that skill is no longer the issue.

And then the only way to mitigate the Honour mechanic is to trade for artifacts that basically nullify it.
What is being assessed here? The players ability to use the trade website to get the relevant honour protection relics?

The Trials should be a test of how well your character build as it is, and your skills are whilst using it are, in dealing with the end-game content.

Nerfing your build so severely is not proving anything.
Forcing players to buy their way through it is not proving anything.

It's not even your build anymore.
And
You are not even playing the same game, wft is Honor.

Im going to be honest with ya I was going to make a post
but.

The reason it fails is because it is the opposite of fun.
It is the opposite of ARPG.
It's a power neutering.

You start strong and then get worse and worse as it goes on.
Until you achieve peak ass suck!

It is a prolonged process and highly repetitive which
means it is highly annoying.

It cannot be avoided with knowledge, there will always be N rooms to trudge through.
The better you get at it the longer it takes as more and more rooms requirements are added until you reach Ultimate Suck!!.

At the same time it is random in it's afflictions meaning skill is no longer
a determining factor.

I would never buy the "Trials Of Seckima" game.
Christ do hate it.

Pitch it in a meeting.
(I thought of this remark later, i guess someone did :) )

I got a game idea!!!!
You start out ok , and then get really shitty!!

You're definitely playing the game wrong if you need to trade for relics. After reading posts on the forum in general more often than not i'm left with the feeling that people simply don't use the given mechanics in the game, try to face-tank the content and then after failing come to cry on the forums that it's the games fault.
I am happy for OP even though I don't like trials as much.
Is this an out of season April Fool's joke?
