Recent mass bans are wrongful and GGG needs to address this mistake and fix it.
And I quote:
"There was no bug or unintended mechanic used. It's clear as day what these tablets do and say" 8:36 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT6oJ3Bm3ek I think this person was very transparent and explains the situation in detail very well. If you think he should be banned, then you need to ban me because I would've done the same thing, and I absolutely will in the future given the opportunity under the impression that this is either intended, or you didn't think through how strong this could be, which at that point is your fault, not the player's. Just take the L and admit you were wrong, unban these people. When I saw another video of Ziz going through the patch notes, I didn't think much of it, but I'm glad this person brought this up and made a video about it explaining the situation in detail. Shameful, GGG. Sincerely. Edit: I'm a bit tired replying to misinformed comments. Please actually watch the video. Последняя редакция: edgartheslayer#7880. Uh no.
It's rare GGG ever bans people for exploiting, but it's something players have ALWAYS wanted. And finally, when they actually decided to ban players for once, people like your silly self make a post petitioning them to unban exploiters. You're the worst criminal defense lawyer I've ever seen in my fucking life. Also, I'm glad this issue pissed you off enough to compel this pathetic thread. Makes me happy. |

" I quote again: "There was no bug or unintended mechanic used. It's clear as day what these tablets do and say". Actually watch the video, get educated on the topic and you'll see why you're wrong in this specific situation. |

Just be glad it wasn't permanent. Only the people that clearly exploited were banned not everyone who used the interaction.

" I wasn't banned and I don't know any of the people who got temporarily banned to be really glad or sad. I just randomly stumbled on this video on youtube, and what grinds my gears is that this could 100% easily be me. Just as the guy who commented before you, I ignorantly but curiously thought this was going to be a poor attempt at an excuse, but looking at the actual item description and methology to pull this off, I'm very disappointed the lack of logic that GGG had in this ordeal. You have to be 18 to play this game; by this time you should be able to logically deduct that an "infinite money glitch" is not intended game design.
If you can't, you should be seeking guidance and not play video games. |

Nah.its okay.
For ritual exploits this was not even Perma. Also those who exploited 3ex and 1 audience unlikely to get banned. It's about those guys made 100 divs etc. Also just a reminder - most of exploited currency was planned to be rmted later. [Removed by Support] Последняя редакция: Drew_GGG#0000. " This isn't an infinite money glitch, because a)it's not a glitch in the first place. b)It's not infinite in the same sense as generating infinite money. Addressing a): There were no hacks, cheats, bugs or glitches exploited, because 1. GGG allowed you to achieve >=100% reduced cost of deferring via legit means(items and passives working exactly as they are described). 2. GGG allowed you to achieve >=100% reduced cost of rerolling favors via legit means(items and passives working exactly as they are described). 3. GGG allowed you to achieve infinite rerolling count via legit means(items and passives working exactly as they are described). Addressing b): Infinite money glitch implies you use a glitch (which it's not in this case, because it's achieved via basic math and legit stacking of modifiers the game offers you.) to reliably generate infinite wealth through relatively easy means. That's not quite the case here, because, as far as my casual arse is concerned, you need to be already near endgame to get this, and >99.99..% of items you get rerolling have relatively no value, and you're stuck rerolling until you find anything worthwhile, not to mention there's only so much you can take with you with limited portals every time, to where after you've done some maps, you need to make the setup all over again, getting all the tablets with the randomized mods all over again etc. Stacking "reduced cost of x" to where you get >100% which makes cost/duration/etc 0 is something that was achievable in many forms and builds throughout POE history in builds, probably still is, and definitely will be in the future. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the people using builds in poe1 that had infinite immortal call duration to be indefinitely phys immune never got banned. How is this different? After this, there's 0 interpretation left that the person in question did anything wrong like exploiting an actual bug or glitch. You can argue that this is broken, and GGG made an oversight not realizing that this is achievable and should be removed/nerfed - THAT'S FINE. But you cannot state that this person used an "infinite money glitch" without being disingenuous and using intellectual dishonesty. Последняя редакция: edgartheslayer#7880. The more I see people trying to justify exploiting the game the more I think it should have been a permanent ban to hardware.

Keep copping but there's no good excuses for exploiting. I bet they all knew it was too good to be true and that it was exploitative in nature but did it anyway since last time GGG didn't send a ban. This behavior is nothing new... this is nothing but taking a risk. It's simple, they fked around and found out! Next time you keep your greed in check and you skip or you wait until it's safe to do.
