Recent mass bans are wrongful and GGG needs to address this mistake and fix it.

They already did set a precedent, probably many times. Empyriangaming, already a decently popular streamer at the time was banned for the duration of an Ultimatum league or more just 3 years ago. I would've tried doing what he did, except the only reason he got banned and I didn't, was because he had an OP character with an OP party, and I wasn't strong enough.

Then you should have been banned as well. The failings of your morals doesn't change that exploiting the game should be banned.

exploiters belong banned. Some exploits can completely destroy a games economy ect. If players keep thinking they can exploit without punishment they will continue to do so. This ban should happen and needs to happen every time exploits are being abused for personal ingame wealth period.

Dude, you really just need to let it go.

This wasn't "a lot of currency" or "an absurd amount of currency" this was the ability to generate more currency than currently exists in the League economy, or existed in the previous League, or that will ever exist in total in all future Leagues for the entirety of the game's existence.

No player, top or bottom, left or right, young or old looked at this and thought "Yeah, I totally just figured out a clever trick that's definitely within the spirit of the game." Each and every one of them knew they were abusing an exploit and they knew as soon as GGG learned about it that it would be hotfixed.

If you're ever confused about a similar situation in the future, that's the litmus test you can use: "Would GGG immediately hotfix this if they knew about it?" If the answer is "Yes, of course" (which it absolutely is in this case), then you're obviously not dealing with something that's "in the spirit of the game" are you?

There is also precedent something like this didn't warrant a ban. In a past PoE1 league (can't remember which exactly now) the release trailer showed off something that could essentially dupe I believe it was blueprints. When asked, Chris at the time said he was okay with it because the economic effect would be limited to the supply of the duping agent. Prices on things would adjust, etc. In other words, it was a normal part of the game and fully intended.

Hence I don't see how this is any different. Given there are no alts or scours and pulling this off in 1 tower requires multiple blue tablets with cost reduction mods along with a unique tablet, one can certainly argue the total possible instances of this "exploit" is indeed finite. Allowing the market to work itself would simply lead to this unique tablet and any blue tablets with the correct mod to rocket in price.

Anyone who played PoE at that level would expect this to be the natural result.

Not saying they are wrong to put a stop to it if they felt necessary. But I agree the bans were excessive.

I do nto think the band shoudl be reverted.. my point is.. there are cases where not even his argumentation can be taken seriously as clear cases of RMT
